Situation and policy education is an important content of ideological and political education for college students.It is also the main way to cultivate university students' situational and policy views,ability to analyze and judge the situation.Effectiveness is an important measure to measure and deterrmine the effectiveness of the situation and policy education,and is a key issue in the situation and policy education.General Secretary Xi Jinping first commented on the college students at the national university ideological and political work conference on December 7,2016.They think that they are full of vigor and vitality,diligent,broad field of vision,open-minded and self-confident.They are a lovely,credible and promising generation and they have placed their full trust and hope.To strengthen the effectiveness of the college students situation and policy education,guide college students to correctly understand and analyze the situation at home and abroad,deepen their understanding and support for the party's policy guidelines,and it is of great significance to improve their political quality and promote comprehensive development.However,in the actual progress,due to the interaction of various influencing factors,there are many problems in the situation and policy education,and the actual effectiveness is insufficient.The paper focuses on the current situation of undergraduate students and the effectiveness of policy education.Starting with the relevant concepts and content,the paper focuses on the analysis of the concepts of “situation,” “policy,” and “effectiveness,” and the goals and content of the situation and policy education among undergraduates and features.The definition of core concepts laid the foundation for further research.Based on the concept of clarity,the survey method and interview method are used to conduct surveys.The research perspective cuts in from the current group characteristics of college students,and then shows the actual situation of university students' acceptance of the situation and policy education,respectively,from knowledge cognition and participation,cognitive channel analysis,understanding of educational content,and achievement assessment were grasped in five aspects,fully affirming the basic effects of the situation and policy education,and pointing out the existing problems.The results of the survey show that the current university students' knowledge about the situation and policies is biased,the participation is not high,the cognition channels are tedious,the education content is boring,and the assessment emphasizes the results.On the basis of analyzing problems,further summarizing the factors affecting actual results,the teaching methods,the quality and level of teachers,and the degree of attention of school leaders have the highest contribution rate to the effectiveness of the situation and policy education,and have become the most importantfactor that restricts the effectiveness of the situation and policy education.Here,we will focus on these three factors.At the same time,we will also provide supplementary explanations on non-essential factors such as education content,management mechanism,and environment.In the end,we will place the study's foothold on the path to improve its effectiveness,and target path references.Mainly to improve the management mechanism,attach importance to the main channel of classroom teaching,strengthen practical education,actively guide learning emotions and create a harmonious campus environment as the focal point,emphasizing the interaction of five aspects.The entire research process is based on the scientific theoretical basis of the situation and policy education,adheres to the principle of combining theory with practice,and strives to achieve the unity of theory and practice.In addition,regarding the evaluation system for evaluation effectiveness,the current academic community has not established a scientific and effective situation and policy education evaluation system.Limited to the limitations of research capabilities and the lack of evaluation techniques,only the initial conception of this evaluation system is proposed here,and the principle of construction is proposed to provide a reference for the construction of this system.
