As new period students, they should not only master certain professionalknowledge and skills, but also observe the development and change of the socialsituation home and abroad with scientific attitudes. At the same time, they should alsonail down their historical responsibility, establishing great ideals and targets forstruggle. Educating the undergraduates about situation and policy is of greatimportance in helping them to develop themselves positively and comprehensively.Thus, they will eventually become qualified constructers and successors throughrecognizing the situation scientifically, understanding the routes, principles andpolicies correctly, grasping the direction of becoming talents.There are various ways to conduct situation and policy education. This thesisaims at researching the education among college students in a narrow way----theclassroom education----from the students’ perspective. Starting from thedevelopment of situation and policy education, the thesis demonstrates its courseposition, disciplinary attribute and the importance and outstanding effect in thedevelopment of students’ health development and growth, clarifying the uniqueness ofclassroom education of situation and policy in terms of teaching tasks and teachingcontent, probing the current situation of the classroom education and summarizingsome problems as the lack of study motivation and deficiency of study effect, as wellas other problems existing in teaching methods, teaching contents, teachers’ level andteaching management, with a deep analysis of the causes. From the students’ point ofview, their cognition and motivation are attributed to internal causes, curriculumarrangement, teaching contents and methods, teachers’ levels and teachingmanagement to external causes in order to change the phenomenon in previousresearches that focus only on the construction of curriculum rather than the practicalstudy of students. And on the basis of this, measures can be taken to enhance andimprove the education among college students. On the one hand, the main role ofstudents in learning the course is displayed, putting forward the internal measures ofthe construction of a new learning pattern. On the other hand, as far as curriculumconstruction is concerned, the external measures are being proposed, such asoptimizing the curriculum, enriching the content, reforming the pattern, improvingteachers’ quality and regulating the management mechanism.This thesis focuses on the research of measures of improvement, eventuallyaiming at the current situation and existing problems of the situation and policyeducation among college students, exploring the new perspective and method of theenhancement and improvement of education in order to promote the overalldevelopment of college students.
