Study The Effectiveness Of Legal Education Of College Students

Since1986, China began to carry out national law popularization activities and the socialist legal education vigorously started. The legal education of college students is an important component of China’s socialist legal education, and it has important significance. While the legal education of college students generally carried out, the college student illegal crime phenomenon has surfaced, college student cheated cases are numerous. This let us see the urgency of the research about the effectiveness of legal education of college students, we must be reflective of the current college legal education. To this end, this thesis will systematically study the issues related to the effectiveness of legal education of college students from the aspects of the meaning, evaluation, status, causes and ways.The first part of this thesis is to make clear the meaning and the importance of the effectiveness of legal education of college students,and how to comment on it. In simple terms, the effectiveness of legal education of college students is the degree of realization of educational outcomes for educational goals. In evaluating, we should make a comprehensive comparison between the effect and the expected goal, combine with the characteristics and affecting factors of college legal education.Combined with social reality and questionnaires, the second part summarizes both positive and negative aspects of the effectiveness of legal education of college students. Although the college legal education get more and more attention and widely opened, we make a conclusion that the effectiveness of the current legal education of college students is not high because of the weak legal consciousness, lower legal quality and numerous lawlessness issues of college students.The third part is to find the causes why the effectiveness of legal education of college students is not high. Educatee’s learning attitude and basic level, professional deficiency and rigid methods of the educator, the lack of legal curriculum and practice in school, as well as a variety of other adverse social factors have lead to the lower effectiveness of legal education of college students.The fourth part put forward the upgraded ways on the basis of the above. Place college legal education in a right position, adhere to the principle of education, optimize legal education work in school, strengthen social forces and so on. Try to form a joint effect of students, schools and society to promote the college legal education to achieve a higher effectiveness of future development.
