As the keyword of curriculum standards' core tasks and basic concepts,biological science literacy has been put forward repeatedly.So it is necessary to detect students' biological key competences levels as an important metrics to measure the biological science educational outcomes.However,because of its abundance and complexity,the education of biological key competences shows its difficulty.So it is valuable to carry out the research of constructing accurate evaluation tool to measure the biological key competences of senior high school students.Taking the students who have completed high school biology required courses research target,by applying interviewing method,paper-pencil test,literature research method and so on,basing on the specific target content of high school biology curriculum standards and applying paper-pencil test to complete the preparation of the tool to evaluate high school students' biological key competences.The tool comprises two parts,the first part is the biological key competences assessing indicator system,including as follows:one is the content framework consisting of four dimensions about the concept of life,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry,social responsibility.Based on the evaluation of the content and the teaching designed by evaluation content,this study has established 4 primary evaluations index and 18 secondary evaluation index,aiming at index of first and second class each corresponding to academic quality standard from first to fourth class.Thesecond section is divided into biological key competences test,including specific assessment test,specific.topic description each,reference answer,scoring.After discussion and analysis about the data test results and interviews to the surveyed people,the final testing subject consists of 20 questions(10 way the multiple choice topics,10 way comprehensive topics),four primary concept of life,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry,social responsibility account for the percentage of 20,40,20 and 20 of the whole general topics in the test respectively.After examining the quality of the whole test and general themes,we can not only conclude the assessment topic proves high reliability and validity,but also judge that the content and weight distribution basically coinciding with the assessing indicator system built in the first half part.Therefore,the former and latter scientific results can prove the validity of science mutually.Reviewing the study for assessment tools of biological science literacy at home and abroad,we can see that they are still at the early stage,the process of making assessment test in the study are just as a preliminary exploration of testing biological key competences,the research routes,methods and results can be further improved and optimized in the future study.
