| The way of presenting the test questions of biology is often not to simply list the knowledge points for examination,but to examine the knowledge points and the problem situation set in the topic.How to obtain and interpret the hidden information in test materials is an important subject for teachers and students.With the use of new textbooks and the implementation of the new college entrance examination,from the analysis of recent college entrance examination biology questions,most of the questions are based on a large number of graphic materials as the background material and entry point,which requires candidates to be able to obtain and read the effective information contained in the questions from the graphic materials,and interpret the obtained information.Therefore,it is particularly important to enhance the importance of front-line teachers in cultivating the ability to acquire and interpret information and students’ learning strategies for this ability so that students can better master the methods and skills to acquire and interpret biological information.This study attempts to cultivate students’ ability to acquire and interpret biological information,in order to help students improve their ability to learn biology,and at the same time to provide some teaching methods for front-line biology teachers.With the support of modern education and teaching theories,this study draws on previous research results and combines with my own teaching practice to propose feasible strategies for cultivating students’ ability to acquire and interpret biological information.The teaching experiment of acquiring and interpreting biological information in the process of solving biological problems was carried out for some students in Grade one of Pingxiang No.3 Middle School.This study proposed strategies to cultivate students’ ability to acquire and interpret biological information from both teachers and students.Through a semester of teaching practice research,data analysis was conducted on the experimental group and the control group,and it was found that the experimental group’s score in the post-test was significantly improved compared with that in the pre-test.Through interviews with students and teachers,it is found that most students like biology class and think that their ability to acquire and interpret information has been improved to some extent.The interviewed teachers also put forward suggestions for this. |
