Estimation is an important part of mathematical calculation,but also a calculation strategy,as an important ability in mathematics learning,in recent years gradually by the mathematics education sector attention.Based on the current situation of teaching and research status,established the "primary school mathematics estimation teaching status analysis and improvement strategy research" as the research topic.On the basis of the existing research materials,the paper first combs and then combs and analyzes the teaching objectives and examples and exercises of the evaluation of the teachers' reference books and student textbooks.On the basis of this,a questionnaire survey of students' one to six grades is compiled.Based on the solution of the problem and the answers to some open questions,the author summarizes the current situation of the estimation of students in Nanjing XX primary school and combines the results of the survey The teacher's questionnaire is compiled and the teaching is estimated from the perspective of teacher' s teaching.Then,according to the feedback of students and teachers,we designed the second questionnaire,and further explored the strategies to improve the students'estimation and learning through the redesign of some estimation problems and the setting of auxiliary problems.Finally,through the survey results of two student questionnaires,summarize and analyze the preliminary conclusions,and put forward three strategies to improve the students'estimated learning strategies:method guidance,experience accumulation,diligent practice.
