The revision group of the "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards"issued by the Ministry of Education proposed that Chinese students should develop six core qualities of mathematical abstraction,logical reasoning,mathematical modeling,mathematical calculation,intuitive imagination,and data analysis in mathematics learning.The research of core literacy has become an important topic at present.This paper studies the mathematics modeling level of senior high school students and summarizes the following four questions:(1)Mathematics for senior high school students Analysis of the overall level of modeling level;(2)whether the level of mathematics modeling of senior high school students is related to gender;(3)school differences in the level of mathematical modeling;(4)study of mathematical and mathematical differences in mathematical modeling.This research adopts the literature data method:through reviewing a large number of documents,combing the literature related to this article and constructing the theoretical part.Questionnaire survey method:The survey questionnaire designed two questionnaires for students and teachers respectively,and through the questionnaire survey to understand the third grade teachers and students.The level of understanding of mathematical modeling.In addition,through the selection of reasonable test questions,the mathematical modeling ability of senior students in the two selected schools is evaluated.Statistical analysis method is used:according to certain standards,the collected data are subject to Statistics,and statistical software for data analysis.The conclusions of this study include the following four aspects:(1)The mathematics modeling ability of the senior high school students is still at a lower level as a whole,and there is still much room for improvement.(2)The mathematics modeling level of senior high school boys is higher than that of senior high school girls.The level of mathematics modeling of students is related to gender.(3)There is no significant difference in the level of mathematics modeling among the senior high school students from two high schools in the same level.(4)The mathematics modeling level of the students of the senior high school science class is higher than that of the liberal arts students,and the mathematical modeling level of the students is related to the arts and sciences.
