The basic subject of natural science is biology,whose research object is mainly the life phenomenon and its law of activity.It aims at cultivating the core literacy of the students,and the teaching design is the link between the theory and practice of communication teaching,which plays an important role in the professional growth of the teachers.The teaching design ability can directly affect the quality of high school biology teachers' classroom teaching,reflect the professional knowledge of high school biology teachers,and reflect the ability of high school biology teachers to plan and analyze the classroom,create and generate,manage and evaluate and implement the teaching effect.So how to carry out instructional design is a problem that every senior high school biology teacher should seriously study and discuss,which is an important embodiment of teaching ability of biology teachers.This paper analyzes the present situation of the teaching design ability of high school biology teachers by using the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview in high school biology teaching in China.First,combing the relevant literature about the teaching design ability of teachers,integrating the previous research achievements on the structure of teaching design ability,and determining the theoretical basis for the compilation of the questionnaire according to the literature consulted.Secondly,according to the dimension of teachers' teaching design ability defined by the selected teachers' teaching design ability dimension,the dimensions of the teacher's teaching design ability defined by IBSTPI are compiled.A questionnaire on the teaching design ability of high school biology teachers.and the reliability and validity of the design questionnaire;finally,the questionnaire was issued to the senior high school biology teachers and the investigation was carried out.The quantitative data was used to reflect the present situation of the teaching design ability of the high school biology teachers,and the factors affecting the results were obtained according to the results of the investigation.To find out the problems existing in the teaching design ability of high school biology teachers,and finally to the conclusion of the questionnaire,put forward suggestions for the development of teachers' teaching design ability,enrich the research results of teaching design ability of high school biology teachers,and promote the development of teaching design ability of high school biology teachers.The findings of this survey are as follows:first,the background factors of teachers are related to the instructional design ability of senior high school biology teachers.The background factors of this study include four main factors:gender,teaching age,education level and professional title.There are significant differences between gender and teachers' teaching design ability.The teaching design ability of male teachers is significantly higher than that of female teachers.There are differences in teaching design ability between teachers and teachers,but there is no significant difference.Among them,teachers' teaching ability in 11-15 years is the highest in all dimensions.There is no statistically significant difference with the teaching design ability of teachers,that is,there is no statistical difference in the teaching design ability between undergraduate and graduate students;the high and low of the title is positively related to the teaching design ability of the teachers,the higher the professional title,the higher the teacher's teaching design ability,the second:the teaching design of the high school biology teacher.The overall ability is high.The total scoring rate of the teaching design ability reached 80.86%.Third:the ability to design and develop dimensions needs further improvement.There are five dimensions in teaching design ability.The scoring rates are 83%,84%,79%,84%and 82%respectively.The scoring rate of design and development ability is 79%.The teaching design ability of high school biology teachers is weak and needs further improvement.In view of the above results,the author puts forward suggestions for the development of teachers' instructional design ability in three aspects,including school administrators,teachers and teacher training.
