| Stanford University,known as the “West Coast of Harvard,” has placed a special emphasis on the creation of entrepreneurship education culture and regarded the creation of entrepreneurship culture as a standard for university development since its inception.The culture of entrepreneurship education in Stanford University has played an important role in its development into a world-class university.It is mainly embodied in four aspects: material culture,spiritual culture,institutional culture,and behavioral culture.By careful studying and analysising the culture of Stanford University’s entrepreneurship education,we can conclude a deep practical implications for our cuntry in the following aspects: the promotion of undergraduate entrepreneurship practices,the transformation of entrepreneurship education culture in universities,the improvement of innovative talent cultivation capabilities,and the promotion of the connotative development of higher education.This paper takes the culture orientation of Stanford University in United States as the research theme.Standing at the height of cultural orientation perspective,it studies the cultural background,development status and effectiveness of entrepreneurship education development at Stanford University and reveals the cultural elements for the development of entrepreneurship education at Stanford University.At the same time,on the base of examining the development of entrepreneurship education in our country and analyzing the existing problems in colleges and universities,it explores the enlightenment of setting up an entrepreneurial education culture system for colleges and universities in the context of China’s economic culture.This thesis is mainly carried out from the following aspects: The first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the topic selection and background of this topic;the purpose and significance of the research;the pre-existing research status,including domestic research status and foreign research status;research ideas,Research content and research methods.The second part consists of two chapters which are the core and backbone of this paper.The first chapter mainly discusses the basic theoretical issues of entrepreneurship education and cultural orientation,and focuses on the implications of cultural orientation,the connotation of entrepreneurship education,and the influence of cultural orientation on entrepreneurship education.The second chapter is mainly about the interpretation of Stanford University’s entrepreneurship education culture,including material culture,spiritual culture,system culture and behavior culture.This part is the backbone and focus of the whole paper.The third part summarizes,from the material culture,the spiritual culture,the system culture and the behavioral culture,carries on the classified discussion,combines the enlightenment of fostering the culture of entrepreneurship education of Stanford University,and puts forward the pertinent reference suggestions for the creation of the entrepreneurship education culture in Chinese colleges and universities.Cultural orientation is an important guarantee for entrepreneurship education.The culture of innovation,initiative culture,adventure culture,independent culture and competition culture in university culture have a great influence on the development of entrepreneurship education.For example,Stanford University’s liberal innovation culture has created a kind of soil and atmosphere that allows students to dig,explore unknown and novel things,and provide environmental support for the emergence of innovative results;The pioneering culture of Stanford University will make students full of pioneering spirit,dare to try new things,be the first to make original achievements,Stanford University has the courage to bear the risk culture so that students do not fear failure and continue to take risks.Stanford emphasizes that independent culture is committed to cultivating students’ independent thinking and basic ability,so that students can treat problems in two,and cultivate students’ dialectical thinking and ability to deal with and control complex situations independently.The competitive culture that Stanford University dares to challenge makes students unyielding and makes development of entrepreneurship education and the cultivation of innovative talents in China.This paper points out that our country needs to create a material culture conducive to the development of
