With the continuous reform of education, the following requirements have been put forward for students:"We must have a strong interest in learning","We must have a strong sense of participation","We must have effective learning methods",and"We must have good study habits." However,in the current teaching situation,"teachers' speaking and students'listening" is still the main mode of teaching.Mathematics in junior high school is not only the expansion and development of the mathematics knowledge in primary school, but also the basis of the mathematics knowledge in high school. Moreover,it plays an important role in linking up with the next. Therefore, cultivating students' interest and thinking in junior high school teaching is an important teaching goal.Problem-based learning(called PBL for short)stresses the importance of cultivating students' awareness of self-learning.Improving students' comprehensive abilities through problem solving is consistent with the requirements of the new curriculum reforms for students, which is a research hotspot for inquiring education.Based on the theory of constructivism, humanistic learning, and the situated learning, this study uses these methods of literature research, classroom observation,interviews,experiments."Problem-Based Learning" is elaborated in three aspects, which are teaching objectives, problem designing, and evaluation methods. And it can construct the basic model for the mathematics teaching in classroom in junior schools. Then followed by teaching practice exploration, the practice mainly analyzes from these aspects, which are students' interest, learning attitude, participation in the classroom, autistic learning awareness, cooperative abilities, mathematical thinking ability and learning performance.Through the analysis and research, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Students' attitudes to earning mathematics have changed;(2)Inspire students' interest and improve their participation in the classroom;(3)Effectively cultivate students' awareness of independent learning and cooperation;(4)Cultivate students' ability of solving problems and promote the development of students' mathematical thinking.
