Writing is an important way of using language to express and communicate.It is a process of understanding the world,understanding oneself,and creative expression.Writing ability is a comprehensive reflection of language literacy.Writing the words as an important step in writing,is always taught in preliminary stage.In order to improve the efficiency of writing the words,many front-line teachers and educators are carrying on the positive exploration and put forward a lot of methods of writing the words.And writing the words by looking at pictures is one of the more common ways.It once occupied an important position in writing teaching.With the rise of picture book reading,picture books have also been used by many preliminary stage teachers in writing the words teaching,because the students in the primary school are mainly based on specific image thinking.Writing the words by using picture books is not only in line with the characteristics of students' thinking development,but also stimulating students' writing interest,improving students' ability to express,reading ability,and promoting the development of students' language thinking ability and imagination,which are helpful for improving writing ability of students.However,there are many problems of writing the words teaching by using picture books.In order to better understanding the current situation of the teaching,the author selected one primary school as a subject for study,and used interviewing method,observational method and product analysis method to research.And the author selected five teachers from the primary school to interview.Learned the current situation and existing problems of teachers' writing teaching through picture books,and learned the reasons behind the problems in the teaching of picture writing.In order to solve the teachers' problems in the writing teaching,the author put forward the corresponding improvement strategies from four aspects: the selection of the picture book in writing,the concern of the student situation,the improvement of the teaching ability and the enrichment of the writing style.This paper is divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the research origin,research significance,literature review,concept definition and research methods,etc.The second part mainly discusses the picture book teaching,significance of picture book teaching and writing the words teaching,and the unique value of writing the words by using picture book;The third part according to the observation and interview content,collated the analyzed data,and found some problems in the picture book writing teaching from these materials;The fourth part mainly analyzed reasons;The last part proposes improvement measures.Through this study,the author will understand the current situation of teachers in the teaching of writing the words by picture books,find advantages and disadvantages,and promote teachers to improve teaching efficiency.Students can improve writing efficiency and quality with the help of picture books.
