Education is a symbol of a country's prosperity,a powerful driving force for a well-off society in an all-round way,the foundation of economic and social development,and basic education is the cornerstone of that foundation and the key to the development of the next generation.To do a good job in basic education is the top priority of the national economic and cultural work.The basic education in ethnic areas has been affected by different degrees,such as the imbalance of basic education,the lack of convergence of bilingual education and the structural shortage of teachers,the poor natural environment,remoteness of the region,the lack of human resources,the limited policy support and the lag of basic public services.The northwest ethnic area is an important part of china's ethnic settlement area,And zhuoni County belongs to the northwest ethnic area,is located in the southern part of Gansu Province,the southeast of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,is the blending area of Tibetan and Han culture.Although basic education has been improved better,there are still problems such as lack of teachers and unreasonable allocation of funds.Therefore,it is necessary to study the current situation of basic education development in Zhuoni County in order to fully understand the current development of its basic education,find out the difficulties it is facing,and put forward reasonable solutions to help the healthy development of basic education in the northwest ethnic areas.Taking Z Middle School in Zhuoni County as an example,on the basis of field work,the paper focuses on the investigation and analysis of the current situation of Z Middle School in Zhuoni County,and then makes an in-depth analysis of the difficulties and causes of the basic education in Zhuni County,and puts forward the strategy of the development of basic education in the northwest ethnic areas.The paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter describes the origin of the topic,research significance,literature review,core concepts,theoretical basis,and then introduces the research content and research methods.The second chapter is the research and design of Zhuoni county basic education development status survey.Including the purpose and object of the investigation,the content and method of the investigation,the assumption and implementation of the investigation,and the processing and analysis of the data.The third chapter mainly introduces the current situation and problems of basic education development in Zhuoni county.This paper describes the general situation of basic education in Zhuoni County,analyzes the development status of Z middle school in Zhuoni County,including the construction of teachers,the situation of students' study,the views of parents and local education administrative departments on local basic education,and discusses the problems existing in the development of basic education in Zhuoni county.The fourth chapter analyzes the causes of the development of basic education in Zhuoni county.Including the lack of flexibility in the implementation of national education policy;the impact of geography,economic and ecological environment,traditional culture on the development of basic education in Zhuoni County;the low quality of population,lack of educational resources and other different degrees constitute the formation of the development of basic education in Zhuoni county.The fifth chapter puts forward the development strategy of basic education in northwest ethnic areas.Specifically,it includes:improving the executive ability of the main body of policy implementation,improving the relevant work assessment mechanism;broadening the channels of bilingual teachers' selection and employment,strengthening the construction of teachers' team;strengthening the publicity of national basic education,changing the traditional education concept of the masses;raising funds through multiple channels,and overall ensuring the investment of education funds.In Conclusion,based on the survey of Z middle school in Zhuoni County in Gansu Province,combined with the existing research,this paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the development of basic education in Zhuoni County by using the methods of questionnaire and interview,and analyzes the causes of the problems in the development of basic education in Zhuoni county.Finally,it puts forward the development strategy of basic education in northwest ethnic areas.
