Postgraduate education is the highest level of education in China.It is the main way to cultivate top-notch innovative talents,and it is also an important factor affecting the development of national science and technology and the competitiveness of culture.The Ministry of Education is exploring the comprehensive reform of graduate education actively,to promote the connotation development of graduate education.The reform of graduate training mode is an important content of deepening graduate education reform and an important measure to improve the quality of graduate education.This paper takes the reform of postgraduate training mode in China as the research object,adopts the literature method,comparative method,case analysis method and so on,on the basis of combing the relevant documents,analyzes the"cultivation mode","graduate training mode"and "graduate training mode reform".This paper systematically analyzes the background,content and existing problems in the reform of graduate training mode in China,and explores the developing trend of the reform of graduate training mode in China.The background of the reform of postgraduate training mode in China is discussed from three aspects:national strategy,social demand and university development.Based on this background,the author analyses the contents of the the reform of postgraduate training model in China from four factors:the training goal,the training process,the training system and the training evaluation.Pointing out that the training mode of graduate student in China has changed from "professional talent training mode" to"interdisciplinary talent training mode","theoretical talent training mode" to"theoretical and practical talent training mode ","unified plan talent training mode" to"talent classification training mode".Using the case study method,through analysing on the practice of Wuhan University,Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Harbin University of Technology in the reform of postgraduate training model.The author finds that there are still some problems in the process of the reform of the postgraduate training mode in China,such as the low awareness of the reform and innovation of the teachers and students,the convergence of the training mode and the poor social adaptability.To promote the reform of cultivation mode and perfect the mode of postgraduate training,the state should strengthen the guidance and support,the society should enhance the degree of participation in reform,and colleges or universities should attach importance to the implementation of the reform.
