Physical academic emotion refers to a variety of emotional experiences related to students' physical studies in physics teaching or learning,including pleasure,boredom,disappointment,anxiety,and anger,etc.Physical psychology can have a direct or indirect impact on physical achievement through the achievement goals,academic performance,learning strategies and other intermediary variables.At present,the study of academic emotion has just started and the research field is relatively small,mainly focusing on the academic situation,relationship,characteristics and influencing factors.So there are few studies of physical academic emotion.This study adopted Dong Yan and Yu Guoliang(2007)'questionnaire about youth academic emotion.144 students of 8th grade from Zhenjiang Chongshi Girls School were chosen to take part in the experiment and divided into two groups--one control group and one experiment group.The experiment group was counseled as a group for two and half months according to the designed plan with the intention of testing the effects of tutoring on girls' physics academic emotion.Finally the two groups had post tests by using questionnaires.The results of the study show that girl students physics academic emotion was positively and constantly affected by group counseling.To improve girl students' physics academic emotion,the following advice were put forward:1.make physics more interesting to improve girl students' physics academic emotion 2.cultivate consciously girl students' sense of accomplishment in the physics to improve their confidence in learning physics and self recognition of promoting their physics3.hlep students learn to indicate themselves positively and encourage themselves to confront difficulties in learning physics;keep in good state of learning physics and get rid of the fear of learning physics4.guide students to analyze their failure positively and reasonably when facing their success and failure to cultivate girl students' positive physics academic emotion.
