Interest is one of the principles for writing language teaching materials,especially for children,which plays an important role.The Chinese teacher team,located in the Confucius Classroom in Jerez,Andalusia,Spain,has compiled a set of localized Chinese textbooks for children,"Twelve-color Chinese Notes," which makes up for the lack of local Chinese textbooks for children in the region.Based on the actual needs of local teaching,the editor takes into account the characteristics of children's Chinese learners,and strives to reflect the interestingness of the textbook.Based on Liu Songhao's interest research framework,this paper analyzes the language interest,printing interest and process interest of the textbook by combining questionnaire survey and interview method,and analyzes and summarizes the interesting points of the textbook and several aspects that need to be improved.In terms of language interest,the sentence content of the textbook is close to the real life,and has strong communicative and practical features;rich and colorful Chinese cultural knowledge and cultural activities are arranged in the textbook.In terms of printing interest,color is used to reflect the style of the whole set of teaching materials,and color matching is used on the cover to highlight the theme color of this set of teaching materials,and twelve colors are also used as marks of different learning stages;a large number of colorful illustrations are used in the teaching materials,which are intuitive and interesting.The disadvantages are that the vocabulary notes in the textbook are too thin,the words for color are only translated notes,which does not reflect the characteristics of the textbook with "Twelve colors" as the theme;the practice mode of Chinese character knowledge in the textbook is single;the introduction of some Chinese cultural knowledge in the textbook is too simple,the distribution of cultural knowledge and cultural activities is scattered,and the culture is not fully used for reference The overall interest of the textbook is enhanced,and the text layout in the textbook is not standardized,which affects the beauty of the layout of the textbook.In view of these deficiencies,this paper puts forward the corresponding modification suggestions,hoping to help improve the interest of this set of teaching materials.
