A Study On The Leisure Time Allocation Of Freshmen In Sichuan Nationalities Colleges

The effective use of leisure time is the representation of people's pursuit of the quality of learning,work and life.Since May 1,1995,our country has implemented a double holiday system.From then on,leisure time has become more and more important in people's study,work and life.According to the actualities of education in our country,In high school,students have a single life and a high degree of stress in their study.The high school students became a freshman after entering the University.Students in the first grade of the University have a lot of free time.And their lives are lack of supervision.They are generally faced with too much leisure time.And there is a great difference in the efficiency of their leisure time allocation.For the freshmen of Ethnic Colleges and universities,They are also faced with the diversities of living habits and cultural traditions.Thus,the study of their leisure time's allocation has an important practical and theoretical significance.In the process of research,the research methods such as questionnaire,interview,literature and mathematical statistics are the most important research methods used in the study.In order to investigating and researching leisure time allocation of students in the first grade of the University,This study chooses the Southwest Minzu University and Sichuan Minzu College in Sichuan province as samples.Firstly,this study understand the states and problems of the use of leisure time of freshmen.Secondly,this study have been summarize and analyze the reasons for relevant problems.Finally,this study propose the strategies to improve the managemental quality of second class and leisure time of minority Universities freshmen by utility theory of Microeconomics.Research shows,the students in the first grade of Minzu Colleges and universities in Sichuan Province have the following problems in the allocation of their leisure time: First,although there are a small number of teachers in schools to guide students in the allocation of leisure time,these guidelines are lack of pertinence.Second,there is a big gap in the actual distribution of leisure time compared with the ideal distribution.Third,there is a polarization in the distribution of leisure time.Finally,most of the students have a plan to use their leisure time,but their ability to execute is weak.In response to the above problems,this article proposes the following solution: First,schools should attach importance to leisure education as much as classroom teaching and secondary classroom education.Second,after determining their own goals,students should rationally pursue the utility of leisure time.Finally,in the management of leisure time,in order to maximize the utility of leisure time,students should be active,and improve their leisure time management skills and management strategies.In terms of the significance of this study,the results of this study are beneficial to help students in the first grade of the Minzu Colleges and universities in China adapt to college life and learning,and beneficial to improve the quality of leisure education,of classroom teaching,of secondary classroom education,and beneficial to the requirements of the quality education of the national higher education.
