| The leisure time of today's university students is much longer than before, which has become an important factor in the healthy growth of today's university students and has immeasurable influence on their socialization and maturity. Therefore, leisure time education must be involved in higher education, improving the quality of today's university students' leisure life and making them grow healthy and develop comprehensively by cultivating their life attitude and ideas on leisure life. After clarifying the meaning and characteristics of leisure life and leisure time education, this paper discusses in detail the functions of leisure time education of university students. It dissertates on the present condition and some key problems of the leisure time of today's university students. It also explores leisure time education and tries to set up a leisure time education system of university students. Moreover, it puts forward some measures of leisure time education of today's university students.This paper consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction.
