Tong Qingbing?1936-2015?is a noted literary theorist,aesthetician,critic and educationist in China.Basing on the modern conditions of China,Tong had found so many important literary theories which satisfied the requirement of developing society.Undoubtedly,Tong is one of the most important theorist of China after the reform and opening-up policy,and he had great honor in the academia.The chief intent of this thesis is to discuss about Tong's thought on aesthetic Chinese education of middle school systematically.The thesis is composed by 6 main parts:Part 1 introduces Tong's life firstly,readers can see Tong's major academic achievement and honorable character here.Besides,the current state of Tong's thoughts research has been listed.Part 2 is talking about the social background of the reform of contemporary Chinese education,it tells the reason why Tong proposed aesthetic Chinese education and the relationship between aesthetic Chinese education with social reality.Education is one of the main missions of modern society,the stormy discussion about Chinese education which happened in the end of 20th century is an important background of Tong's aesthetic Chinese education,and its further reason is Tong's dissatisfaction with epidemic scientism and mass culture.Part 3 focuses on the philosophical foundation of Tong's aesthetic Chinese education,meanwhile,the author tried to picture and analysis the influence of different philosophies on Tong's thought of aesthetic Chinese education.Tong's aesthetic Chinese education has a close relationship with existentialism and humanism,and it's also connected with the gentleman education in pre-Qin dynasty,western aesthetic education thoughts from Pythagorean to Friedrich von Schiller and early modern Chinese aesthetic education thoughts.Part 4 is designed to present how Tong realize his literary theory in Chinese education of middleschool.Tong tried to apply his theory of psychological poetics in the teaching of Chinese,by this way,teachers could enhance students'sensibility by stimulate their aesthetic perception,strengthen students'emotion by stimulate their aesthetic emotion,and improve students'understanding by stimulate their aesthetic imagination.Part 5 intends to explain the idea and practice of Tong's effort in compiling Chinese teaching materials of middle school.Tong held that the compiling of Chinese teaching material must be geared to human's future,Chinese education should be aware of its contemporaneity.Therefore,the textbook should be constituted by these classic masterpieces,and the structure of textbook should be arranged by the order of history and time.In the last part,the author emphasized Tong's idea on aesthetics and aesthetic life——which is the perpetual motif of Tong's all thoughts.
