With the aging population accelerated gradually in recent years,the elderly population proportion rising accordingly,the spiritual and cultural needs for the elderly are also increasingly prominent with the development of the new era.As the mainstay institution and important mean,aging education came into being around the world.The third age university was first built up in French;which make the third age education is now taken as a symbolic mark represents the elderly education.The elderly education system is developed well in western countries now;its teaching mode is relatively rich,while the elderly education is maim showed up as the University of the Elderly.The important social status of the elderly and the elderly education has been strengthened again in the documents"the elderly education development planning in 2016-2020",which was published by the state council general office in October,2016.The document also emphasizes and encourages various schools to accept the elderly who have learning needs to join in.In March,2017,the state council published the national aging career development planning in the 13th five-year period,in which the importance for the whole society actively cope with various aspects work about the aging population was strengthened.It is also point out that we should enrich the life of the elderly,further develop the educational resources for the elderly,support relative institutions develop elderly schools,improve the conditions of opening the elderly school,further open elderly university organized by enterprises and institutions,encourage the social forces joining in the development and construction of the elderly university,strengthen the construction of the elderly university toward the area of the public welfare and specialization.The elderly education plan in Liaoning Province(December,2017)indicate that our province has entered an advanced stage of aging period,and its degree is also deepening gradually.We should expand the range of the elderly education,breakthrough the elderly education system and mechanism innovation,targeted improving the life quality of the elderly,have the elderly more involved in the education by integrate the social resources effectively and improve the standard of the elderly education,by which open a new elderly education dimension according to the reality in our province.The elderly education starts comparatively late in our country,with the support of the national policies,and the further construction and open toward society of different organizations,relative work of elderly university have made great progress in past years.But overall,there are still some prolblems existed in the development of the elderly university's service,such as its distribution difference between developed area and developing area,some of it did not fit the needs of the elderly completely which prevent them enjoying the service.By the field research,we could maintain the management experience of staff in the elderly university and the actual needs together with the degree of their satisfaction of the elderly students,learn about the current development and status of the elderly university,and provide effective advice to optimize the elderly university's service standard.This research takes the elderly university's service as the object,selected part of the staff and students in the elderly university,applied literature analysis,interview and questionnaire investigation to learn about the current service situation of the elderly university in Dalian.Reference in the research already existed in relevant field designed the interview outline and the satisfaction questionnaire.Using the descriptive statistics to analyzed the present situation of the elderly university's service and its influencing factors.According to the investigation,the service of the elderly university in Dalian has problems as follows:unbalanced development among different area,incomplete supporting facilities,inequality admission opportunity(part of the elderly university has restrictions to join in,the others more expensive),insu:fficient funds and staffs.Combine with the research conclusion,proposed relative advice to meet the elderly needs and improve the satisfaction degree of the elderly university respectively from the perspective of government policy and the staff in the elderly university.Countermeasures as follows:to strengthen the support and guarantee of the elderly university;optimize the development environment of the elderly university;consummate relative policy and regulation related to elderly education;focus on the elderly university's professional systematic construction,develop the distance education resources and online platform,provide better services for the elderly who needed.
