| Critical reading is one of the effective ways to improve critical thinking.It is a process in which readers actively think about the text in the process of reading,and readers will select,compare,question and reflect on the content of the text,and finally make evaluation.There is no doubt that critical reading plays an important role in Chinese teaching in senior high school.However,the current situation of Chinese reading teaching is not optimistic.Front-line teachers cannot study the reading method of critical reading deeply and thoroughly,but pay more attention to high scores.At the same time,students are bound by textbook’s authority,lacking in critical thinking.Therefore,it is necessary to apply critical reading into the teaching of Chinese reading in senior high school,with critical thinking as the guidance and the cultivation of reading ability as the main line to cultivate quality talents.Titled by the Research on the Application of Critical Thinking on the Teaching of Chinese in High School,this paper advocates applying critical reading to Chinese teaching in senior high school,and studies the current situation of application of critical reading,relevant problems and effective strategies.There are five parts following:The introduction part mainly introduces the paper’s research reason,research status,research significance and research methods.The second part,as far as its connotation and characteristics are concerned,distinguishes critical reading from critical reading teaching and expounds the principles to be followed in critical reading teaching,including heuristic,moderate and subjective principles.The third part studies the current situation of application of critical reading and relevant problems occurring in the teaching process.Taking teachers and students of senior high schools into account,this paper finds out the practical problems facing the application of critical reading by means of questionnaire.The fourth part clarifies the strategy of the application of critical reading in Chinese teaching in senior high school.In view of the problems in the third part,the research mainly focuses on the establishment of teacher-student relationship which can adapt to the operation ofcritical reading,the establishment of teacher-student dialogue mechanism adapting to critical reading,and the wise selection of teaching content and teaching methods.The fifth part is the case analysis of the application of critical reading in Chinese teaching in senior high school.This paper analyzes the importance of critical reading in Chinese teaching in senior high school,taking Zhu Zhiwu causes the withdrawal of Qin’s army and Thunderstorm as examples.It is found that applying critical reading to Chinese teaching can not only improve teachers’ teaching efficiency,but also stimulate students’ interest,problem awareness and critical ability.However,Chinese teachers still have a long way to go in cultivating students’ ability to think and judge independently,dialectically analyze and make decisions from multiple angles. |
