Self-efficacy is an individual's judgment on whether he has the ability to reach a certain level of behavior. It has nothing to do with the skills a person possesses, but it has something to do with people's judgment on what they have the ability to do.Self-efficacy will affect the individual's choice of behavior.Research shows that improving self-efficacy can make individuals more willing to meet challenges, can substitute self-confidence,and give full play to wisdom and skills in time. This study combines Bandura's self-efficacy theory with physics teaching to study the influencing factors and teaching strategies of self-efficacy in Shanghai junior high school physics learning process.By consulting literature and statistical analysis of survey data, the population of Shanghai has been increasing in recent years.Firstly, the research conducts a teaching survey on the students from the central schools with superior resources in Shanghai and the new suburban schools. It mainly compares the sense of self-efficacy of physics learning between family background and school resources.Through interviews, this paper explores the reasons for the differences and puts forward some strategies to improve students' sense of self-efficacy in physics learning.According to the results of the survey, the eighth grade students in Shanghai junior middle school have higher self-efficacy in physics learning than those in Gumei Middle School. And it can be concluded that creating a positive family atmosphere, parents attaching importance to children's physics learning, the status of weight gain experiment in school physics class and teachers' active and effective speech act will have a positive impact on students' self-efficacy in physics learning. This paper mainly consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction, which elaborates the background, significance and problems of self-efficacy,and introduces the research methods used in this topic. The second part is the definition of the concept. It elaborates the concept of self-efficacy,which is the core key word of the article. It introduces five influencing factors of self-efficacy in detail, and distinguishes them from similar concepts. At the same time,it defines the concept of self-efficacy of physical learning based on self-efficacy applied in the field of physics. In the third part, the self-efficacy of the eighth grade students in physics learningis reflected by questionnaire and interview. The results of the survey were analyzed to determine whether there were differences in the students' self-efficacy in physics learning between the two schools. From the data collected from the questionnaire,we can see that the eighth grade students in Shanghai junior high school have a higher sense of self-efficacy in physics learning than those in Gumei high school. We also find that family atmosphere, parents' attention to children's physics learning, the proportion of experiments in school physics class and teachers' speech act will have an impact on students' self-efficacy in physics learning. The fourth part is the strategy and case analysis of cultivating self-efficacy in physics learning.Through four teaching cases, this paper puts forward the training strategies to improve the sense of self-efficacy in middle school physics learning, which are: parents pay more attention to the situation of physics learning;actively create a family atmosphere suitable for physics learning;improve school physics laboratory facilities to improve students' hands-on experimental ability;teachers are more student-oriented in their speech attitude.Through the above case analysis,it provides valuable reference for front-line physics teachers to understand the degree of students' self-efficacy,research and organize the teaching strategies of cultivating students' self-efficacy in physics teaching. The fifth chapter is the summary and prospect.
