Self-efficacy refers to the people who can successfully be engaged in an achievement with subjective cognitive judgment.According to the past studies,the cultivation of the students' self-efficacy is critical in the process of physics teaching and learning;The improvement of the junior middle school students physics self-efficacy may help to improve their academic performance,and transfer the learning methods to another disciplines learning process.Because of all above,during the process of students' physics learning,teachers should help them to improve the self-efficacy effectively and help to establish self-esteem in physics learning,who are playing important roles in the processes and also bear the critical responsibilities at the same time.In order to acquire students' physics learning self-efficacy status in junior high school and teach effectively in the next stage,the author have consulted the existing questionnaires about the junior middle school students' physical learning self-efficacy and completed the questionnaire in this thesis.About the study objects,two junior high schools' students in the city of Zhengzhou participate in this study.Questionnaires method and interviews method has been used in this study.This study adopts two kinds of study tools,one of them is Junior Middle School Students Physical Learning Self-efficacy Questionnaire,the other is about the junior middle school students self-efficacy interview outline.This study uses SPSS19.0 software to process the experiment data during the data analysis process.The followings are conclusions:(1)In general,the level of the self-efficacy about the two junior high schools' students is average or a little higher than the average;(2)The junior high school students' self-efficacy level varies from the different levels of schools.The higher the level of the school is,the lower the students' self-efficacy level is;(3 The self-efficacy level of the grade three is higher than the grade two's,but there exists no significant difference;(4)The self-efficacy level exists gender differences in junior high school students,the male students' self-efficacy average score is higher than girls',but the difference is not significant.According to the study conclusions above,this thesis proposes four teaching and learning practice strategies which can cultivate junior high school students' good physics learning self-efficacy.Further study is prospected.
