Track and field sports,as a major sport,its movements cover walking,running,jumping,and throwing.It is reflected in all kinds of sports.It is the foundation of all sports and has the title of "the mother of sports." Looking back at the previous National Games,Shandong has achieved good results in the finals of the last five National Games track and field competitions,from the third to the 10 th National Games in the medals of the 9th National Games to the 13 th National Games.One.Although the track and field project is a strong point in Shandong Province,it does not have an advantage in men's shots.The gold medal for Shandong Province in the National Games will be traced back to 1975.In the new century,there have been many outstanding male shot putters in China.At the 5th National Games in 2005,Zhang Qi of Shanxi broke through the 20-meter mark and broke the national record of dusty 15 years.In the year,Zhang Wei of Shanghai renewed the national record to20.41 meters.Although there have been several outstanding male shot putters in Shandong Province in recent years,they have rarely made achievements in the National Games.At the 13 th National Games,there were no Shandong athletes in the top eight men's shots.It can be seen that the men's shots in Shandong Province have lost their former glory.The reasons for the lag in the men's shot put in Shandong Province are various.In order to make the men's shots in Shandong Province reappear as soon as possible and catch up with the domestic popular list,this paper investigates the development status of men's shots in Shandong Province and tries to find out The factors affecting the lag of men's shot put in Shandong Province,and put forward corresponding suggestions,in order to change the status quo of men's shot put in Shandong Province,and promote the sustainable development of men's shots in Shandong Province.This paper uses the literature method,expert interview method,mathematical statistics method and other research methods to analyze the men's shot put in the province,from athletes,technology,coaches,training,backup,scientific research,system and other factors.The conclusion is:1.The sports performance of men's shot put events in Shandong Province is in the downward stage.The male shot put athletes in the first line are too old,but the young athletes are not strong enough,showing the phenomenon of alternation between new and old athletes.2.Shandong Province men's shot put project development is uneven,can not give full play to the advantages of the group.3.There is a lack of technical innovation,athletes' special technology is relatively backward,especially the left support and final force and other key technologies need to be further improved.4.Lack of high-level coaches,especially the lack of composite excellent coach team.5.The scientific and systematic training needs to be further improved,and the means and methods of training need to be innovated.6.The selection way of reserve talents is relatively single,which makes it difficult to give full play to the advantages of human resources and is not conducive to the establishment of the training mechanism of outstanding reserve talents.7.Lack of a perfect system of scientific and technological service guarantees.In sports training,scientific research units and training units lack organic links,and scientific research cannot keep up with the needs of training.8.The traditional training system and competition system can no longer meet the needs of the development of competitive sports in the new era.
