With the development of Internet technology and the continuous deepening and acceleration of information exchange,the products of this era of virtual communities came into being.As one of the new forms of e-learning,the virtual learning community has been favored by more and more learners because of its openness,convenience and rich learning resources for learners.The prosperity and development of the virtual learning community is closely related to the constant participation and contribution of community members.Therefore,how to attract and retain community members,meet their needs,and increase their participation is of great significance to the development of the virtual learning community.This paper firstly reviews the domestic and foreign research status of participation motivation and participation intensity in the virtual learning community,and conceptually defines the motivation and participation intensity in the virtual learning community,and then based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs.The theoretical basis of achievement motivation theory,technology acceptance model and social identity theory are sorted out.Secondly,the measurement motivation variables of participation motivation are five dimensions: information motivation,social motivation,entertainment motivation,self-presentation and subjective norm.The participation intensity measurement variables are selected as participation level,interaction level,emotional input and knowledge contribution.Four dimensions,and initially constructed a research hypothesis model of the relationship between user participation motivation and participation intensity in the virtual learning community.Thirdly,the questionnaires on the relationship between user participation motivation and participation intensity in the virtual learning community are compiled with reference to the maturity scale of participation motivation in the existing virtual learning community at home and abroad,in the virtual learning community of “Learning Science and Technology” in Qufu Normal University.The members are the research objects,using the statistical data analysis software of the questionnaire,using the data collected from the questionnaire to do descriptive statistical analysis and reliability test and validity test,using AMOS software to test and correct the theoretical model,and to path the theoretical hypothesis.After the test,the conclusions are drawn:(1)Informational motivation and social motivation have significant influence on the intensity of participation,and the influence of informational motivation is the biggest,and the influence of social motivation is second;(2)The motivation of entertainment is the intensity of participation.The impact is also significant;(3)self-presentation is the least affected variable of participation motivation;(4)subjective norms also have a significant positive impact on participation intensity.Based on the research results,the conclusions are drawn from the development of the corresponding management system,the improvement of community friendliness and information compatibility,the addition of game-based learning modules,the optimization of the learning environment and the users themselves to promote community participation.Degree,and thus promote the sustainable development of the community.
