Research On Diving And Motivation Of Virtual Learning Community

With the development of science and technology, today’s society are increasingly better educated.Information construction accelerated the spread of knowledge. At the same time, the widespread dissemination of knowledge accelerates the process of information at a certain extent,.In the construction of national education and lifelong education the virtual learning community arises at the historic moment.In the virtual learning community, people from different areas, different schools and different education background get together to exchange their ideas, instead of being limited by time and space. Meanwhile, there is another group in virtual learning community only looking through others’ posts to obtain the required information not to participate in or rarely take part in the discussion, we call them the diver, this kind of phenomenon is called the phenomenon of diving.Due to the increasing gradually and the diving members in virtual learning community and the negative influence is more and more obvious, so in order to ensure the healthy development of the virtual learning community, more and more researchers begin to pay closely attention to the phenomenon of diving motivation and give some suggestions, it is also very important to the sustainable development of the network.At first, on the basis of combing the literature research method which has been adopted in this study at home and abroad, redefine the concept of network diving phenomenon, and in qufu normal university to study science and technology of virtual learning community as the research object, to learners of Grade 2011 interactive situation has carried on the qualitative and quantitative research, summarizing the characteristics of the diving phenomenon in virtual learning community;Then by integrating the existing research achievements of diving phenomenon formed the diving phenomena, internal and external motivation system classification, at the same time, based on the theory of planned behavior, social capital theory,social identity theory and social exchange theory, into the relevant variables that building the virtual learning community diving phenomenon dynamics model and put forward relevant assumptions;Finally, use the standardized statistical analysis to verify this hypothesis by setting the questionnaire and interview method.According to results of the data analysis in this study,we can obtain the following conclusions:(1) The interests of virtual learning community members have significant positive effects on the diving intention of virtual learning community members.(2)The virtual learning community in the community(community sense of belonging and identity) have significant positive effects on the diving intention of virtual learning communitymembers.(3) The physical constraints in the virtual learning community members have significant positive effects on the diving intention of virtual learning community members.(4)The members of the virtual learning community diving intention have significant positive effects on diving phenomenonOn the aspect of theory in this study,we can form the related basic theory framework through the research of integration before, in motivation hypothesis model introduced the theory of planned behavior, social capital theory, the thought of social identity theory and social exchange theory, as well as the influence factors of diving phenomenon in virtual learning community has carried on the summary.In practice, through empirical research on hypothesis model, summarizes the influence the related influencing factors of virtual learning community,for managers to improve community activity to provide certain reference basis, to promote the healthy and sustainable development of virtual learning community.Also there are some deficiencies in this research, such as model building, the number of samples of questionnaire to set up and has certain defects, late to be a friendly progress, in order to make the conclusion more scientific and convincing.
