Family is the first school for children.Parents are the first teachers of children.Parents dominate the process of family education.Parent education helps to improve the literacy and ability of parents,thus helping them carry out family education better.In recent years,parent education has been paid more attention,but compared with other adult groups,the research on parents is generally less.At the same time,compared with the parents of special families,the needs of parents of ordinary primary school students receive less attention.Therefore,on the basis of existing research and theoretical basis,this study formulates a questionnaire on parent education needs of Liyang primary school students.Taking W primary school students' parents as an example,this study investigates parent education needs of primary school students and the factors affecting parent education needs,and on this basis,provides suggestions for further development of parent education.The first chapter mainly introduces the origin and significance of the study,literature review,concept definition,theoretical basis and research methods.The second chapter constructs the framework of this research based on the existing relevant research and overlapping influence theory model,adult surplus theory,and selects the W primary school in Liyang City to carry out the survey.In the third chapter,through the analysis of the questionnaire,the survey results are presented from two aspects: the parent education needs of primary school students and the factors affecting the parent education needs.Chapter IV analyses the results of the survey,and finds that the content of parent education needs have a focus;the way of parent education needs tend to be interactive;compared with parents,children and families,the influence of society on parent education needs is relatively small;at the same time,from the subjective and objective aspects of influencing factors,subjective factors have a higher impact on parent education needs,and then look at each of them concretely,the factors affecting parent education needs are different,Family income and parenting concept are the important factors affecting parent education needs.The fifth chapter,based on the research conclusions and relevant analysis,puts forward suggestions from the content,way and system of parent education,including paying attention to the diversification and scientificity of the content of parent education,the diversification and flexibility of the way of parent education,and theinstitutionalization and systematization of parent education,all of which require the joint efforts of the country,society and parents.
