The play is the natural and important part of children's life.Parent-child games play bridge and medium roles in prompting an effective communication and closing relationship between parents and children.It is of certain value and significance to the theory and practice of children's families to study the current situation and existing problems of parent-child games and to put forward targeted suggestions.Based on the analysis and summarization of the related domestic and international articles,by combination of questionnaire and interview,this research aims at studying the present conditions and influencing factors of parent-child plays of 5-6 years old children in Shaoguan.First,in the attitudes towards parent –child games.Most parents can take active attitudes towards parent –child play.The parents can realize parent-child play as important factors to the children's development.However,most parents can not deal with the relationship between children's play and study.Second,in terms of the creation of parent-child games.It usually last 30 minutes and could satisfy children's needs of play time on the whole.Parent-child may happen in such places as families and outdoors.However,due to different parents' occupation,cultural level and ages,the choice is slightly different.The rate of utilization of the materials made by children themselves is moderate.Most children use ready-made toys.Third,in terms of the content of parent-child games.There are many contents of parent-child play including physical play,constructive play and intelligence play in boys and physical play,role play and intelligence play in girls.Finally,in the interaction of parent-child games.Most parents are actively involved but their behavior passively in the terms of the initiation of parent-child play.Many parents respect their children's will and rights,but they don't know how to take part in and guide parent-child play scientifically and pertinently,most of the time they cannot form a real interaction.According to empirical investigation and ecological system theory,we found that factors influencing the quality of parent-child games are:1?Micro factors include family structure,parents' education concept,parents' attitude to games and their material life,etc.2?Middle factors include the cooperation between family and kindergarten.3?Macro factors include social child-rearing atmosphere and electronic media.To improve the quality of parent-child games,it is necessary to make corresponding changes from the perspectives of concept and practice:1?In terms of updating the concept,two "correct understandings" should be made,to correctly understand the relationship between children's games and learning,and to correctly understand the value of adults in children's games.2?In the implementation of the action,first is to create a favorable game condition for the children from the material,psychological levels;second is to combine the four means of inspection,auscultation,inquiry and pulse-taking,to make use of the game guiding strategy flexibly;third,we will strengthen the cooperation of family and kindergarten.
