Art education in primary school is an important part of education and an vital way to implement quality education,which plays an irreplaceable role in the healthy development of pupils' physical and mental health and the formation of sound personality.Under the background of the new curriculum reform of basic education,the effect of art classroom teaching in primary school is a common concern of the whole society.Taken literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and practice as the basic demonstration methods,this paper takes two primary schools in Mudanjiang City as the research object.Through investigating the teaching effect of primary school art education and studying Feng Zikai's art education thought,this paper finds out the common problems in primary school art teaching,analyses the causes of the problems,explores the joint point between Feng Zikai's art education thought and primary school art education,and puts forward the strategies to solve the problems with the guidance of Feng Zikai's art education thought,which hopes to provide a useful reference for the current art teaching in primary school.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction which explains research background,purpose and significance of this study,the current situation of Feng Zikai's thoughts of art research and the research idea and methods.The second part is the analysis of Feng Zikai's thoughts of art education and practical significance by consulting a large number of literature.The third part investigates two primary schools in Mudanjiang City and summarizes the main problems in art teaching in primary schools by using the methods of questionnaire,interview and observation.The fourth part analyses the causes of the existing problems in primary art education.Under the guidance of Mr.Feng Zikai's art education theories such as "quality view of art teachers","protection of childlike innocence","artistic life" and"heart-centered,technology-based",the fifth part provides solutions to the common problems of art education in primary school,such as insufficient number of teachers and low professional quality,teacher-centered and adultification of children's art education,art education confined to the classroom and lacking the connection with life,emphasizing on the teaching of techniques while neglecting the cultivation of personality and aesthetics.
