Research On The Construction Of The "Ice And Snow Sports Database" Of Harbin Institute Of Physical Education

After more than half a century,ice and snow sports in China have entered a stage of rapid development.The successful applying of the Beijing Winter Olympics is a major landmark event of important historical node,the enthusiasm and the need to understand Winter Olympics,including its literature,news,events,venues,and equipment,etc.,have become higher and higher from all sectors of society.In 2016,President Xi proposed to use the Internet and big data technology to strengthen the infrastructure and information construction of philosophy and social science books,networks,databases,etc.It shows the importance and necessity of database construction for the development of philosophy,humanities and social sciences.Sports universities not only undertake the important tasks of talent cultivation,but also serve to guarantee outstanding achievements in Winter Olympics as well as impact world's competitive sports peaks.The construction of a comprehensive,accurate and professional "Ice and Snow Sports Database" can not only enable universities to exert their own advantages and characteristics in discipline construction,but also cultivate the ice and snow talents who can truly serve this industry and adapt to the needs of society.At the same time,it will also become a strong data support and guarantee for the dream of a sports power.The construction of "Ice and Snow Sports Database" is an important part of the discipline construction of Harbin Sports University.It is also the precipitation of strong ice and snow culture.Therefore,the construction of the database in Harbin sports university is not only unique but also imminent.Based on the ice and snow resources and the characteristics of actual development of Harbin Sports University,this paper concluded the problems and deficiencies of the self-built database developed by the library.The characteristics of the existing college sports database construction in China was analyzed and summarized through the methods of expert interview,literature review and case analysis.The relevant information of ice and snow industry in these sports databases was explored and theoretical analysis was made on the construction of the "Ice and Snow Sports Database" of Harbin Sports University.Three steps of building adatabase was summarized as follows: First,developing scientific standards;Second,collecting the islands of valid data scattered in various regions through standard screening of ice and snow big data;Third,accurate positioning of database construction and making application analysis.Making full use of data mining technology and data analysis,the "Ice and Snow Sports Database" would be built into a comprehensive database of "Five-in-one" covering excess data such as ice and snow sports,ice and snow sports industry,ice and snow sports culture,ice and snow sports education,and scientific innovation.Through the construction and research of "Ice and Snow Sports Database",the final purpose of perfecting discipline construction,promoting in-depth exchanges among various sports universities,and creating an international academic exchange platform would be realized.
