| The predecessor of Sport College Basketball Association(SCBA for short)is Sport College Basketball Tournament.The league which was a four-yearly event before 2016 has turned into an annual one.And the purpose "one college,one brand;one university,one tournament" has also been prompted.As the successor,SCBA makes up for the regret that sport college and university students cannot attend CUBA(Chinese University Basketball Association)and promotes students' basketball skills as well as tactics.However,being in a preliminary stage,the association still has a long way to go for the lack of a well-organized structure.So do women's leagues.Using scientific methods of documents,questionnaires,interviews of specialists,mathematical statistics,logical analysis,this dissertation studies several aspects of the league and draw the following conclusions:(1)With the aim of "one college,one brand;one university,one tournament",SCBA is intended to try to reform the market-oriented operation of basketball events in sports colleges and universities.It also makes efforts to fortify the cultivation of reserve talents,create in the true sense of new modes of national sports college leagues,expand the social influence of sports colleges,thus bearing an influential and valuable platform.(2)Through leagues,the framework of the association improves an Through leagues,the framework of the association improves and attracts professionals in this field to be engaged in the management and operation of leagues.Despite the clear distribution of rights and duties among different branches,the league organization committee is still much bound to superior departments in charge.There is a lack of a mature system of organization and operation in real events.(3)With the growing number of sponsors,media,rebroadcast platforms participating in the market-oriented operation,SCBA-the freshman,shows many defections like the incomplete statistics of the player database,the bad management of the official website and so on.(4)The competition system and schedule cannot satisfy the requirements of participants(especially coaches and players).There is an obvious gap between SCBA and other top-ranking basketball professional associations like CUBA in the quantities of participant groups and matches.(5)Due to the short duration of the league,low attention to it,small number of audience(including online audience),inadequate packaging of matches and other elements,the popularity of the brand culture of the league is far less than expected.(6)Each participant college comparatively supports the training and matching of women groups.Female reserve talents are in full power;the sports grade of women participants is high;women players are comparatively passionate and initiative in training and matching.(7)The age structure of coach teams is young-biased but the educational level and title is high,which is favorable to the development of basketball teams.The current coach training mechanism is not perfect as well as the assessment mechanism.According to the conclusions above,suggestions are given followed:(1)From the perspective of sustainability of the league,the more detailed distribution of rights andresponsibilities should be further established,rendering women's groups a more scientific and reasonable operation system.(2)Enhance the independence of the operation of the league and finish the market-oriented reform of the operation;endeavor to promote the publicity of the sports event and its own brand.(3)Use the experiences of mature associations as references,extend the scale of SCBA and escalate the quantity of grass-root basketball teams.On this basis,league zones and grading systems are gradually included.(4)Build scientific and reasonable training systems and create databases about women talents of SCBA.(5)Encourage each sports college and university to intensify support and budget investment in the construction of women basketball teams and the promotion of culture of women's leagues. |
