With the rapid development of higher education in this society,the requirement of family higher education in China is gradually colorful.Receiving or enjoying higher education resources is not only related to the choice of students,but also to the choice and decision of a the whole family.Due to the condition of market economy,as the ways and mechanisms of distributing students in higher education have changed a lot,the part of higher education and families have changed,and higher education is gradually transforming into a "buyer's market",so families have more space to choose higher education needs.At present,most rural families are beginning to realize the importance of higher education and hope that their children will change their own fate or even the whole family through higher education.However,the need for higher education does not necessarily mean that families can be satisfied.Under the current situation of higher education cost and lower income,whether rural families are willing to let their children receive higher education,what level of education they receive and what ideas they have when they receive higher education need to be further explored.Based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,Schultz's theory of human capital and Zhang Hongsheng's theory of educational choice,the author describes and analyses the higher education needs of rural families.This study tries to find out the problems existing in the higher education needs of rural families on the basis of understanding the current situation of higher education needs of rural families,and put forward corresponding countermeasures.This study selected the families in the country,Qianshang City,Anhui Province as the research object.Through questionnaires,the basic information of 200 rural families in Qianshang City,Anhui Province,and the basic needs of family higher education were surveyed.Family basic information includes parents'educational background,parents' working status,family basic structure,family economic status and so on.The basic information of higher education in the family mainly includes the family's views on higher education,the choice of related aspects of higher education,and the satisfaction of higher education.Secondly,through interviews and case studies using qualitative research,we can understand the real needs of parents and children of H family in Qianshang for higher education.Through the point-to-area analysis of the current situation of the demand for higher education in rural families in this area,it is known that the demand for higher education in rural families presents three situations:strong desire for higher education in families;high level of demand for higher education in families;and single main motivation for higher education in families.The factors affecting the demand for higher education of rural families mainly include family itself(family economic conditions,parents'educational background,family structure),universities(quality of higher education,charging system of universities),and society(social ideology).According to the analysis of the present situation and the influencing factors,there are irrational tendencies in family higher education demand in rural areas,higher education instrumental demand is higher than value demand,and the effective supply of higher education demand resources is insufficient.From the aspects of family itself,University and government,this paper puts forward some suggestions and Countermeasures to better meet the higher education needs of rural families in China.It is hoped that the reasonable demand for higher education of rural families in China will be constantly solved,and the difficulties that rural families encounter in receiving or enjoying higher education will be effectively handled,so as to improve the satisfaction of higher education of rural families.
