Human understanding of metaphor has gone through the process from rhetoricto poetics to cognitive psychology.Metaphor,as a tool of human cognition,refers to projecting the understanding of this thing onto other things,so that people gradually understand the strange fields that are meaningfully related from the familiar field.Metaphor has important functions such as rhetoric,cognition,culture and linguistics.As a metaphor of cognitive tools,its metaphor is a kind of psychological mapping activity,which has two-way and intermediary.Poetry and metaphor are always closely connected.Metaphor is the principle of poetry creation.Using metaphorical cognitive tools in teaching,students can be attracted to the text in a relaxed and pleasant way,and deepen the students' cognition in the form of cursive path.Depth,stimulate the initiative of learning;can optimize the classroom teaching effect,make the teaching process more smooth,thus improve the teaching efficiency;can stimulate students to understand problems from multiple aspects,stimulate students' metaphorical thinking;help to stimulate students' deep learning and build a flexible and diverse mindset.On the basis of investigating the current situation of metaphor-based cognitive tools in poetry teaching,the author finds that there are some aspects in current poetry teaching that are worth learning and learning.Teachers can apply metaphor cognitive tools to teaching consciously,use the projection and transmission of metaphor to activate students' thinking,construct a more delicate and powerful emotional network,and make the language classroom under the role of metaphor cognitive tools more smooth;But at the same time,we should also realize that metaphorical cognitive tools exist objectively,but they have not been extracted from the theory.If the language teachers can't grasp the core of metaphorical cognitive tools,then they will lose the tension of text interpretation.A large amount of blanks will not be fully excavated,and language classes will not attract students,and the results will be unsatisfactory.In addition,the teacher replaces the sense of creating a text with the word-by-word analysis in the teaching,and pays too much attention to the sensation to cover the stimulation of the students' thinking and imagination.These problems need to be solved.In the teaching of Chinese poetry,teachers should consciously use metaphorical cognitive tools.In the implementation of poetry teaching,teachers should follow the principle of the unity of cognitive process and aestheticexperience;based on teaching support,promoting the principle of teaching generation and exerting imagination The role and the principle of promoting the development of thinking,from the construction of theory to the exploration of practice,Chinese teachers should adhere to scientific and flexible methods to promote the smooth development of teaching activities.The application strategies of metaphor cognitive tools in poetry teaching mainly include: mining metaphors and establishing understanding schemas.It is mainly through the use of elephants to express feelings,awakening feelings and borrowing images and understanding,and establishing schemas.Secondly,teachers should motivate students to metaphorically think and deepen students' life experience.Mainly through mapping associations,targeted delivery and teacher-student dialogue,indulging in the way of experience;finally,we should restore metaphor culture and infiltrate aesthetic education.Infiltrate aesthetic education,romantic cognition,edify culture and enhance literacy in teaching.The teaching practice cases of applying metaphor cognitive tools to poetry teaching show that using metaphorical cognitive tools in teaching helps students to better understand the connotation of poetry,enhance the depth of cognition and the breadth of thinking;it can attract students to learn.Interest in learning,improve learning efficiency,make the teaching process smoother,and the teaching objectives are easier to achieve.In addition,it is also helpful to help students interpret the cultural imagery in poetry,build a network of meticulous and powerful imaginative thinking,enhance the aesthetic taste and aesthetic ability of middle school students,and facilitate the development of deep learning.
