With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,the status of mathematics thought in mathematics teaching has become more and more obvious.It is an important content of contemporary mathematics literacy.In particular,mathematical model thinking as a central concept has been put forward in “Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)”,and it promotes knowledge of primary math to develop and apply.Meanwhile,it makes teachers apply the model thinking to teaching process,and students master it by learning.However,disadvantages and shortages of model thinking are revealed in the practical application of teaching.Therefore,only by fully understanding the application status of model thought in primary school mathematics teaching can model thought play a better role in mathematics teaching and make mathematics teaching truly applied to life.The thesis aims at providing references about applying the model thinking to mathematical teaching.So based on scholars' study outcomes and combined with current mathematical textbook(Beijing Normal University Edition),and requirements of new curriculum standard,the thesis focuses on math teachers' practical application of teaching to study.And it conducts this study by using literature research,textbook analysis,questionnaire surveys and interviewing.This study is divided into five parts.In the first part,through reading a large number of books,documents and periodicals to understand the research status of model thinking at home and abroad as well as determining the research background and meaning,defining the core concepts,and designing study to make preparation for the next research.In the second part,by analyzing the curriculum content of fifth-grade textbooks and classifying different types of model to set up the foundation for status survey.In the third part,analyzing how teachers apply model thinking to math teaching by using questionnaire surveys and interviews to analysis aims at finding out the present teaching problems.In the fourth part,it states the current problems of model thinking applied to teaching process,and classifies the problems according to the causes.The main problems are showed,like teachers lack understanding of the nature of model thinking,teachers do not have enough understanding of model thinking,teachers lack detailed understanding of new curriculum standards,teachers lack theexploration of model thinking in teaching materials,teachers do not good at teaching and applying model thinking,and the effect of applying model thinking to teaching is not obvious.In the fifth part,according to the attribution of problems,the strategies of solving problems are summarized from four aspects: preparation before class,classroom teaching,review and consolidation,and daily penetration.It aims to provide a reference for front-line teachers who are or will be teaching model thinking,so as to make innovation of teaching effectively.
