As a developed capitalist country,Japan has been leading the world in education for many years.Since the Meiji Restoration,Japan's moral education has undergone many reforms.After World War II,Japan began to abandon militarism as the content of its moral education policy.After these reforms,Japan has made a series of achievements in the field of moral education.Its educational content,mode,investment in educational capital and national attention have combined to achieve today's educational power.Position.Before World War II,Japan's moral education was designed to meet the needs of the country,with the imperial historical outlook and dedication as its main content.After World War II,various forces in Japan launched many waves of reform in the field of education,whether conservative or innovative,although the ways of promoting reform were different,their main purpose of maintaining class rule and the imperial authority was basically the same.Since the 1970 s,Japan's economy has developed rapidly.In order to strengthen its international influence on the international political arena,Japan pays more attention to cultivating internationalized Japanese in the field of moral education.In the content of moral education,Japanese pay more attention to the cultivation of children's civility and courtesy,practical ability and the ability to communicate with others than their academic achievements;in the way of education,Japan upholds the coordination and cooperation among family,school and social fields.Japan's achievements in moral education are inseparable from the country's great attention,but there are also many problems,such as the impact of social environment and cultural traditions,leading to a serious tendency of instrumentalization of moral education.For this reason,we also draw a lot of inspiration: we should base our educational concept on reality and combine our national conditions;we should also strengthen the investment of time,energy and funds.In the way of education,attention should be paid to the cooperation of family society and school.
