Primary school language is one of the most important courses in the basic education stage and the basis for learning other courses.Because the growth and development of students are inseparable from the social and verbal life,it can be seen that language teaching is particularly important.In Chinese teaching,literacy teaching is its most important component.Especially in the language teaching of the lower grades of primary school,literacy teaching is the starting point and cornerstone of Chinese teaching.At the same time,it also affects the quality of Chinese teaching and students.An important factor in the quality of Chinese language.Therefore,literacy teaching has always been a permanent and active topic in Chinese teachingHowever,in the actual educational practice,literacy teaching is always unsatisfactory,or even full of drawbacks,which seriously affects the quality of language teaching and limits the development of students’language literacy.Starting from the investigation of the current situation of literacy teaching in the lower grades of primary schools,the author analyzed the problems in literacy teaching through questionnaire survey,literature research and class evaluation,mainly in the following aspectsOn the big front,there are serious flaws and mistakes in guiding the basic theories and basic viewpoints of Chinese teaching and literacy teaching time,as well as the reform methods.This restricts the in-depth reform of literacy teaching.On the other hand,the content and methods of traditional literacy teaching have not been reformed in the substantive sense,and the construction of new literacy teaching content and methods is difficult.Many unscientific traditions and habits still restrict the progress of literacy teaching reform.On a small scale,there are many ambiguous and even erroneous practices in the content,sequence and specific methods of literacy teaching,such as literacy after reading,literacy after learning Pinyin,and excessive teaching of literacy.Knowledge,etc.Such an arrangement also believes that the situation of "literacy is difficult" can be said to be self-restraint,which seriously reduces the efficiency of literacySo how to improve the efficiency of literacy teaching in lower grades?Firstly,teachers should diversify their literacy teaching methods,rationally use the teaching methods of literacy and interesting literacy,and improve students’interest in literacy.Secondly,teachers should improve their theoretical literacy,provide theoretical basis for teaching practice and improve their teaching level.Third,teachers should help students develop good literacy habits and learn to read independently.Thirdly,schools should strengthen curriculum management.
