Nowadays,with the increasing economic level,people pursue health while stimulating sports enthusiasm.Tennis has become the second largest ball game in the world,with the increasing population of tennis and the unprecedented development of tennis in China.But compared with the western developed countries,there is still a certain gap.If we want to make great progress in our tennis level,we must start from children,so children’s tennis teaching plays a vital role.In our country,the traditional teaching method is mainly used in teenagers’tennis teaching,especially in the second and third tier cities.Traditional teaching methods can not effectively stimulate children’s interest in learning,reduce the difficulty of learning,and then lead to serious loss of tennis population.The situational teaching method in tennis is is a teaching method to improve students’classroom enthusiasm,increase students’ interest in learning and enhance learning effect by creating a suitable situation for children’s development.In order to explore the effect of situational teaching method applied to teenagers’tennis teaching,this paper collates and analyses the literature about situational teaching method and children’s tennis teaching at home and abroad through the method of documentation,and carries out teaching experiments for 40 zero-basic children in Haidian Amateur Sports School of Beijing for three months and twenty times.The experimental group adopted the situational teaching method,while the control group used the traditional teaching method.The students’interest in tennis learning after the experiment was counted by questionnaires,and the collected data were collated and analyzed by the data statistics method.The results show that situational teaching method plays an active role in students’interest in learning,technical movements and physical fitness in teenagers’ tennis learning.The following conclusions are drawn:1.Situational teaching method can effectively improve students’physical quality.2.When the situational teaching method learns relatively simple techniques,such as forehand batting,the stability of batting is slightly higher than that of students using traditional teaching methods;but when learning relatively complex batting techniques,such as backhand batting and serving techniques,the stability of students using traditional teaching methods is higher than that of students using situational teaching methods.3.The situational teaching method is more helpful for students to master the standard batting movements.4.Situational teaching method plays a significant role in cultivating students’ interest in learning.
