In recent years,researchers have put forward a new educational concept,Grit.Grit refers to an individual's persistent efforts and constant enthusiasm for long-term goals.Some research results show that grit can effectively predict students' academic performance,and grits people are more likely to succeed.But can students improve their grades just by relying on grit?Grit and learning strategies are two important factors affecting students'performance.Learning strategies are designed to improve academic performance and efficiency,and to formulate plans for learning processes purposefully,systematically and meaningfully.What is the relationship between grit and learning strategies?The main problems studied in this paper are:first,to explore the level of high school students'grit and mathematics learning strategies;second,to study whether there are significant differences in gender and grade between high school students'grit and mathematics learning strategies;third,to study the impact of high school students'grit on mathematics performance;and fourth,to study high school students'grit and mathematics learning strategies.Fifthly,it studies whether mathematics learning strategies play a role in the relationship between grit and mathematics achievement.This research mainly adopts the method of questionnaire analysis and compiles the grit-scale and mathematics learning strategy questionnaire.During my two-month internship in High School Affiliated to Beijing Architectural University,I to study the relationship and influence of grit learning strategy and mathematics achievement of senior high school students through 254 valid questionnaires of senior two and senior three grades of secondary school affiliated to High School Affiliated to Beijing Architectural University.During the internship,the students were observed in class and interviewed after class.The results of observation and interviews were consistent with the questionnaire.That is to say,high school students'grit,learning strategies and mathematics scores have a significant correlation.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The level of grit and mathematics learning strategies of high school students are at the middle level;(2)The level of grit and mathematics learning strategies of high school students is not significant in gender and grade differences;(3)The grit of high school students is positively correlated with mathematics learning strategies,and the grit,mathematics learning strategies and mathematics achievement of high school students are positively correlated.(4)the grit of senior high school students has a predictive effect on academic performance,and the mathematics learning strategy has a predictive effect on academic performance;(5)the mathematics learnine strategy of senior high school students plays a mediating role between grit and mathematics achievement.Finally,this study makes a detailed analysis of the questionnaire,and puts forward some suggestions for cultivating high school students'grit and mathematics learning strategies:first,parents'help;second,teaching incentives;third,students'self-restraint;fourth,teachers'assistance.
