Under the trend of the world education reform,China has gradually implemented the curriculum reform of basic education.Textbooks are an important part of curriculxun and an important carrier of teaching.Scholars in the education field have carried out research on textbooks at home and abroad in order to provide suggestions for the compilation and use of textbooks.Chinese scholars' research on foreign textbooks mainly focuses on the developed countries. In recent years, the research objects have gradually turned to some Asian developing countries in order to obtain a new perspective of educational development experience. As a neighboring country of China,India has a large population. After independence,it has experienced six curriculum reforms, and has always attached great importance to the development of science and technology. There have been many outstanding scientists and physicists in history. It can be seen that Indian science education development has its advantages. In recent years,a large number of Indian students have continued to study in China.China has gradually attached importance to the development of basic education in India and understand the characteristics of basic courses in India. Therefore, comparing Chinese and Indian junior high school physics textbooks is not only helpful for China to xinderstand the characteristics and advantages of Indian textbooks and Chinese textbooks, but also to help the implementation of textbooks. In order to fully understand the research status of physics textbooks at home and abroad, the author consulted a lot of literatures on the comparison between domestic textbooks and the comparative study of Chinese and foreign textbooks, and also collected relevant information on education and teaching in India, and found that the research objects of Chinese and foreign textbooks are mainly concentrated in developed countries such as America,Britain, the lack of research in developing countries. In recent years,Chinese scholars have begun to turn their attention to China's neighboring country-India.They mainly study its science courses such as computer and mathematics, but it has not yet involved the study of junior high school physics courses and textbooks. The author believes that the specific comparison of Chinese and Indian junior high school physics textbooks can be used as a reference for the development of physics teaching and curriculum in China. The author chooses to use the widely used SuKe version of the junior high school physics textbook and the Indian NCERT version of the junior high school physics textbook as the research object. If you want to have a profound and effective analysis of the two editions of the textbook, you need to understand the characteristics of the education and physics disciplines of the two countries. Therefore, this topic first analyzes and compares the basis of the study of the academic system and teaching materials in China and India-the curriculum standards.Through the comparison of the two countrnes' academic systems, the characteristics of the selection of the two countries' physics course content are obtained. Then the course standards of the two countries are compared in detail from the three aspects of the course nature, course objectives and course content. After that,we conclude that the commonalities and opposites of the two courses exist, and draw some inspiration from teaching.Secondly, the author compares the knowledge content and presentation mode of Chinese and India junior high school physics textbooks, and helps the textbook users to have a better grasp of the textbook knowledge content. For the comparison of knowledge content, the common knowledge content of SuKe version and NCERT version of the textbook is divided into five themes of 1 sound','force and movement','light','electricity and magnetism' and'energy'.Through the statistics of the overall knowledge structure and the proportion of knowledge content of each topic, the order and characteristics of the content of each subject knowledge by SuKe and NCERT textbooks are obtained. And the knowledge structure and knowledge points of each topic are discussed to explore the advantages and disadvantages of the knowledge content of the two versions of textbooks. Then the author selects three typical cases in the physics textbooks of junior high school in China and India, from the content arrangement, the presentation of the concept law,and the experiment, the three parts of the ' inertia','refraction of light','ohm's law' three parts of knowledge content. The three parts earried out a specific comparative study, and obtained the characteristics of the two versions of the textbook in terms of content form, experimental arrangement, living materials, and difficulty of knowledge.Combining the advantages and disadvantages of the two textbooks,it provides suggestions for the implementation of junior high school physics teaching in China, giving full play to the important role of the textbooks in teaching and improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching. In addition, the author combine the qualitative and quantitative research on the framework, columns, illustration and exercises of the textbooks, analyze the characteristics of these, and finally summarize the characteristics and advantages of the two countries in the presentation of the textbooks. Finally,it summarizes the comparative analysis of Chinese and Indian junior high school physics textbooks, and draws the similarities and differences between the two editions of Chinese and Indian textbooks, and combines the advantages and disadvantages of the two textbooks with the characteristics of the textbooks. For the compilation of teaching materials to provide new ideas, and the new ideas provide suggestions for teachers to better use the teaching materials.
