Analysis Of Reports And Image Construction Of Overseas Students In China Under The Background Of The "Belt And Road" Initiative

With the advancement of the "One Belt,One Road" initiative,namely the implementation of the "Marine Silk Road Strategy" and the "Silk Road Economic Belt Strategy" in the 21st century,China's political,economic and cultural influence on neighboring countries and the world cannot be underestimated..In the context of the"Belt and Road",the "One Belt,One Road" education initiative promoted by the state has made education open to the outside world a fundamental,leading and overall role in the "One Belt,One Road" joint construction,and the "One Belt,One Road" initiative It provides a new development opportunity for studying in China.The group of international students coming to China represents both themselves and the achievements of international education in China.Many people's understanding of international students in China is mainly based on the information transmitted by media reports.Therefore,the analysis and media of foreign students' reports in China The image of the students studying in China is particularly important.The academic research on foreign students in China mainly focuses on cross-cultural adaptation,current situation investigation and analysis,and Chinese learning.It is relatively lacking in the media image of international students coming to China.The analysis and research on foreign students in China has not yet been presented.This article is based on the Hui Ke News database in all mainland China newspapers,including daily newspapers,morning newspapers,evening newspapers,and urban newspapers on the reports of students studying in China.The report was retrieved from September 2013 to December 31,2018,and the duplicates were deleted.Reports of irrelevant topics,577 reports were obtained as research samples.Using the theory of communication framework to study the characteristics of foreign students in China,and analyze the media image presented.According to the analysis,the number of reports has continued to rise with the passage of the year;the main contents of the report focus on the university's transformation and development planning,the development of foreign students in China,the cultural exchanges,the practice activities of foreign students,and the students studying in China.Interpretation of typical case,national and local policy related policies.In order to understand the characteristics of Chinese students' reports in the context of the "Belt and Road",this paper analyzes the annual number of reports,the length of reports,the types of reports,the topic of the reports,the tendency of reports,and the laws and characteristics of the sources.The analysis found that the content of the article is relatively comprehensive,the source of the report is mainly concentrated in universities and the government,the types of reports are mainly news and communication,and the depth of the report needs to be improved;the overall report tends to be positive.On the basis of summarizing the characteristics of the report,this paper constructs the Chinese students' media image at the three levels of learning level,life level and work level:learning,excellent international students with excellent academic performance,fluent Chinese and a wide range of subjects.In life,accept the Chinese way of life,love Chinese food and customs;at work,I hope to stay in China for internships,work,innovative and entrepreneurial innovative talents;shoulder the responsibility of intercultural communication in the workplace.Based on the summary of the characteristics of Chinese students and the presentation of media images,this paper analyzes the influence of framework theory on news reports,and considers the image of foreign students in China and media reports on the image construction of foreign students in China.
