With the rapid development of information technology,human society has gradually entered the information age.The development of social informationization has gradually influenced the educational reform.It requires that information technology should be fully and effectively used in teaching to cultivate talents adapted to the information society.According to the change of personnel training requirements,the curriculum standard also changes."Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)"calls for innovative teaching concepts and learning methods,deepening the application of geographic information technology to create geographical situations.It provides a sufficient basis for the study of this paper.In this paper,literature research,questionnaire survey and case analysis are used.This paper explores the role of geographic information technology in the creation of geographical situations;investigates the implementation of geographic teachers and students in the creation of geographic situations assisted by geographic information technology;constructs a strategy and evaluation system for the creation of geographic situations based on geographic information technology;and chooses typical contents of high school physical geography to evaluate and optimize lessons.The conclusions are drawn:(1)Through literature research,this paper expounds the characteristics of different levels of geographical situation,analyses the teaching value of geographic information technology,and probes into the important functions of geographic information technology in the creation of geographic situation.It mainly including:diversification of information,creation of geographic situation with rich connotations;visualization,creation of intuitive and vivid geographic situation;integration of means,construction of problem exploration.Geographical context;on this basis,to enhance the core literacy teaching function of geographical context.(2)By using questionnaire survey,it is found that most teachers and students agree to use geographic information technology to create geographic situation for teaching,but teachers themselves have low level of using geographic information technology,different levels of creating geographic situation,and low ability of creating geographic situation by using geographic information technology.According to the survey of students,students have a low understanding of geographic information technology.They like geographical situation and hope to experience it more by themselves,which is different from the teaching methods of teachers'inclination.(3)Combining the relevant theories and teaching steps,this paper constructs the strategy of creating geographical situation based on geographic information technology:the level and type of geographic situation can be determined by the corresponding description of the situation and the cultivation of geographic core literacy in the curriculum standard,and geographic information technology can be gradually selected to ensure the scientificity of creating Geographic situation;geographic information technology can be used to obtain abundant information and deepen the connotation of geographical situation,visualize different geographical knowledge,arouse students'situational interest and cognitive interest,and enhance the inquiry of geographical situation.(4)Based on the strategy of assisting geographical situation creation by geographic information technology,an evaluation system of geographic situation creation based on geographic information technology is constructed from three aspects of scientificity,visualization and inquiry,which can be divided into three levels:high,medium and low.Then,based on the evaluation system,this paper evaluates the quality of the typical case of"the impact of ocean currents on the geographical environment",and optimizes the relevant case based on the strategy of creating geographical situation of geographic information technology,in order to enhance the connotation,visualization and inquiry of geographical situation.Geographic situational creation research based on geographic information technology can enrich the theoretical framework of deepening the application of geographic information technology,and enhance the theoretical level and practical ability of geographic teachers to create geographic situational using geographic information technology.However,due to my lack of teaching experience and limited theoretical level,the optimized lessons have not been tested experimentally.The effectiveness of the strategy needs to be further tested and optimized in the future study and work to achieve the purpose of continuous reflection and improvement.
