In April 2003, the national ministry of education revised, issued the ordinary high school geography curriculum standard (testing), "in curriculum content more greatly increases the geographical information technical teaching content, and stressed in curriculum concept of information technology in geographic study application.This paper is mainly about a compulsory part of high school geography in the "geographic information technology", taking geographic information technology application of classroom teaching content to PEP Required 3 high school geography as an example, from the four aspects of teaching, such as the curriculum standards, teaching materials, classroom target design and teaching strategies, In order to find the most effective in this part of knowledge of the most effective teaching methods, provide theoretical guidance for practice teaching。In the new curriculum standard geographic information technology under the guidance of the part of teaching should focus on the content in the area of environmental studies "application"; In setting teaching goal should be considered when students'cognitive ability and practice ability difference, delaminating set 3d object; And in the classroom, should with image visual images, to life's case analysis or through the release of students' autonomous experience of job for ways to attract the student, lets the student finish in active participation geographic information technology knowledge learning, and trigger students continue to learn geography information technology of interest.This article is divided into four chapters. The fourth Chapter of this paper is summary and outlook, give a summary of this research, analyses the existing problems, and put forward the prospects for future research.
