With the progress of science and technology, the social informatization faster, geographic information technology has into People's Daily life; know the relevant geographic information technology to be used for our citizens to one of the geographic literacy. In April 2003, the national ministry of education revised, issued the ordinary high school geography curriculum standard (testing), "in curriculum content more greatly increases the geographical information technical teaching content, and stressed in curriculum concept of information technology in geographic study application.This paper is mainly about a compulsory part of high school geography in the "geographic information technology", taking geographic information technology application of classroom teaching content to PEP Required 3 high school geography as an example, from the four aspects of teaching, such as the curriculum standards, teaching materials, classroom target design and teaching strategies, In order to find the most effective in this part of knowledge of the most effective teaching methods, provide theoretical guidance for practice teaching。In the new curriculum standard geographic information technology under the guidance of the part of teaching should focus on the content in the area of environmental studies "application"; In setting teaching goal should be considered when students'cognitive ability and practice ability difference, delaminating set 3d object; And in the classroom, should with image visual images, to life's case analysis or through the release of students' autonomous experience of job for ways to attract the student, lets the student finish in active participation geographic information technology knowledge learning, and trigger students continue to learn geography information technology of interest.This article is divided into four chapters. The first chapter of high school, "Application of Geographic Information Technology" section of the knowledge of the content and status of teaching and research related to introduced, and the content of this study were defined. Chapter 2, Required 3 to PEP high school geography "Geographic Information Technology Research in the area of geographical environment" section, for example, three levels of "geographic information technology" part of the curriculum standards, material analysis, puts forward in the teaching should focus on "application" and not "technique" o'clock will geographic information technology teaching material in the study of regional geography environment as a kind of very important tool, in teaching materials should be only as a kind of teaching resources instead of teaching students according to different regions, all of the information technology of the different cognitive abilities set different levels of teaching goal. The third chapter combining with the teaching practice, puts forward the high school stage for "geographic information technology" part teaching required teaching preparation, and proposes five teaching strategy, by comparing and feedback, found the teaching hours using intuitive image reembossament, to life case analysis, pay attention to students to participate in the task of such announcements experience way teaching, can more easily arouse student's interest, and help them to deepen the understanding of geographic information technology. The fourth Chapter of this paper is summary and outlook, give a summary of this research, analyses the existing problems, and put forward the prospects for future research.
