The Biology Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)emphasizes the importance of cultivating students' autonomous learning ability,but teachers have no sufficient understanding of autonomous learning ability and lack of attention to the cultivation of students'autonomous learning ability in the actual teaching process.The author attempts to apply the Mind Map to high school biology class.By constructing the application strategy of Mind Map and applying it in the actual teaching process,the author aims to explore the influence of Mind Map'on the cultivation of students' autonomous learning ability.This paper can provide a reference for teachers to cultivate students' autonomous learning ability in the teaching process.Firstly,the author summarizes the existing research through a large number of literature reading,defines the related important concepts such as autonomous learning ability and the Mind Map,introduces the relevant theories of Mind Map and cultivating autonomous learning ability,and outlines the latest research progress on Mind Map and autonomous learning ability.On the basis of-theoretical research,this paper establishes experimental group and matched group,uses questionnaire survey,interview and experimental research methods to study teaching practice,applies Mind Map to teachers' teaching and students' learning,and explores the impact of Mind Map on students' biological achievement and autonomous learning ability in high school biology classes.Through three months of educational experiment,data analysis of the pretest and post-test results of the experimental group and the matched group shows that the experimental group's post-test results have been significantly improved compared with the pretest results;the post-test results of the matched group have been improved compared with the pretest results but there is no significant difference between them.The number of-90-99 high grade students in the experimental group has been significantly increased.It can be seen that the Mind Map plays a positive role in improving students' biological performance.Students'autonomous learning abilities were measured by questionnaires.It was found that after three months of educational experiments,the scores of students in experimental group had been improved to a certain extent,and also the autonomy of learning strategies and result evaluation has been significantly improved.The interview results show that the application of Mind Map plays an important role in improving students' interest in biology learning.Through the research,this paper puts forward some principles that should be followed when applying the Mind Map:(1)Pay attention to the differences in students'abilities and pay attention to stratification guidance.(2)Pay attention to the adaptability of teaching content and mind map.(3)Combine with other teaching methods in the process of educational practice to enrich the form of classroom teaching.(4)Respect the subject status of students and focus on the mastery of knowledge content.The author reflects and summarizes the research results,and provides some ideas and methods for other scholars to study the cultivation of autonomous learning ability.
