| With the application of mind mapping in the ideological and political classroom teaching in senior high school as the core, this study discusses the principles of cultivating students’ independent thinking ability by studying senior students from a rural senior high school in Sunan, Chanzhou, Jiangsu, and clarifies the principles of the cultivation of the three basic students’ independent thinking ability, such as the construction of thinking, the systematic study of knowledge and learning,and innovation. And teaching experiments are further studied on this basis. In the experiment, with two experimental classes (class eight and class nine) and two regular classes (class three and class four) whose similarity is higher in the school as subjects, mind mapping instruction and traditional instruction methods were developed separately, followed by controlled trials. Using EXCEL2010 and SPSS17.0 to do statistical research on data, draw the following conclusions:(1) The teaching of mind mapping is helpful to improve students’ academic achievement;(2) The teaching of mind mapping is helpful to improve students’ independent thinking ability and knowledge understanding, and the effect of classroom instruction is obvious;(3) The teaching of mind mapping can effectively improve the learning effect of secondary students;(4) The teaching of mind mapping makes teaching attitudes and learning attitudes of teachers and students change significantly. The interaction between the two sides becomes stronger, and the exchange is more frequent;(5) The students have high degree of recognition of mind map instruction, and can adapt themselves to this teaching method;(6) The students expect to apply the teaching method of mind mapping to other subjects to get more autonomous learning ability and improve their comprehensive ability. |
