With the rapid development of the Internet,High school students have become one of the most used groups on social networking sites,more and more people like to present themselves on the platform of social networking sites.The main purpose is to send the content or information about individuals to social networking sites.It can not only change the impression of others,but also promote the communication with classmates,so as to alleviate the pressure of study.At present,the research on self-presentation on social networking sites in China has attracted the attention of many scholars,and their researches mainly focus on the characteristics and influence factors of self-presentation on social networking sites.This study mainly discusses how students'self-presentation impacts on their subjective well-being through social networking sites and whether network social support and self-esteem can function as mediators between self-presentation and subjective well-being.It is hoped that,through this study,high school students can truly express themselves in daily life or on social networking sites,so that they obtain social support on networking sites from friends and families and further improve their self-esteem and subjective well-being.In this study,705 high school students were selected as subjects,and they anonymously filled out self-presentation on social networking sites questionnaire,subjective well-being questionnaire,network social support and self-esteem questionnaire.SPSS23.0 was applied for data analysis to explore the influence mechanism of network social support and self-esteem on self-presentation and subjective well-being in social networking sites.Based on the research results,the following conclusions were drawn:1.There are significant gender differences in network social support and self-esteem.Male students are significantly higher than female students.There was significant difference between grade one and grade two in support of friends and life satisfaction.Other variables were not significantly different in gender and grade.2.Positive self-presentation is positively correlated with subjective well-being.There was a significant positive correlation between real self-presentation and social support,self-esteem and subjective well-being.3.Both positive self-presentation and real self-presentation were significantly positive predictors of subjective well-being.4.Network social support plays a partial mediating role before the real self-presentation and subjective well-being,and the mediating effect accounts for 13.96%of the total effect.Network social support and self-esteem play a complete chain mediating role between real self-presentation and subjective well-being,and the mediating effect accounts for 14.66%of the total effect.Self-esteem plays a partial mediating role between true self-presentation and subjective well-being,and the mediating effect accounts for 46.55%of the total effect.
