| In today’s society,people are more or less influenced by materialistic values.As an important stage of psychological change before entering the society,high school students not only have to adapt to the development and change of body and mind,but also to adapt to the change of the current social background,so the happiness experienced by high school students has also begun to change.High school students in the way before obtain subjective well-being is to focus on their academic performance,concerned about their health,love,family relationship,along with the growth and scope of social changes,social media and the influence of peer groups increasingly deepening,begin to pay more attention to the condition,some external factors,such as material,They also yearn for subjective well-being from these external conditions.In view of the particularity and susceptibility of high school,it is more susceptible to the influence of materialistic values.In this study,703 senior high school students in Shanxi Province were investigated using materialistic values Scale,self-esteem Scale,social support Scale and subjective well-being Scale.The results are as follows:(1)The subjective well-being of senior high school students is significantly different from that of senior high school students.(2)Materialism values were negatively correlated with self-esteem,social support and subjective well-being;self-esteem was positively correlated with social support and subjective well-being;social support was positively correlated with subjective well-being.(3)The results show that there is a significant mediating path between materialism values and subjective well-being through self-esteem,and a significant chain mediating path between materialism values and subjective well-being through self-esteem and social support.In view of the above results,this study puts forward the following suggestions to improve the subjective well-being of senior high school students:(1)Reduce the comparison psychology of high school students and promote the establishment of good interpersonal relationship;(2)Parents should set up the correct concept of consumption education process to establish the correct and effective incentive way;(3)Pay attention to the construction of soft culture and establish correct materialism values;(4)Construct green security network environment and construct effective social support system. |
