Based On Different Media Teaching Materials, The First-year Students' Information Technology Learning Participation Research

Nowadays,under the general trend of education informatization,the cultivation of students’ information literacy has become particularly important.Therefore the information technology discipline has also been concerned.In recent years,electronic textbooks have been widely used in various disciplines.However,its application in the information technology discipline is uncommon.There will produce a new topic if we combine electronic textbooks with information technology discipline.In addition,the current education reform is gradually deepening,the focus of education has shifted to students,and learning participation is increasingly valued.What kind of"chemical reaction" will be produced after the application of electronic textbooks in information technology disciplines?What is the situation of students’ learning participation in the information technology classes?In this study,learning participation was taken as the emphasis of the research.Different media textbooks were used as variables to design the teaching experiments.In this teaching experiment,the research objects were focused on the students of grade seven from a middle school in Nanjing.The students similar numbers,sex radio and achievement level from two different classes were arranged to use the web-based electronic textbooks and print-based paper textbooks in turn,and then add a set of experiment in which students could only use the platform but no textbooks as a comparison.This study was based on the questionnaires and student interviews in order to investigate the learning participation after students used the two different media textbooks or without textbooks in the information technology classes,and then analyze how about learning participation like.And then put forward strategies to improve learning participation at the same time.The study has identified the research dimensions of learning participation were through behavior participation,cognition participation and emotion participation after documenting literature.And the behavior participation included concentration and study two factors;cognition participation included shallow cognition strategies and deep cognition strategies two factors,emotion participation included positive emotions and negative emotions two factors.Based on the research and questionnaire designed by these well-known scholars at home and abroad,the questionnaire in this study were revised according to the research objections and the subject characteristics of information technology,and the "questionnaire for junior middle school students based on different media textbooks" and the outline of students interview were formed.SPSS 21.0 was used to analyze the items of the test questionnaire.After revision,formal questionnaires were put in,effective data were collected.And the basic descriptions of learning participation were compared,their differences and correlation were analyzed.The survey results showed that the application of textbooks was necessary for the first grade junior middle school students to learn in the information technology classrooms,which can ensure the students’ participation and the learning outcomes to a certain extent.When students have no textbooks to use in the information technology classrooms,their learning participation was very poor,far inferior to that when students could use textbooks.When using electronic textbooks based on web media and paper-based textbooks,there existed significant differences in students’learning participation,and when students used electronic textbooks,the degree of learning participation was significantly higher.The order among the three levels of learning participation was behavior participation,emotion participation and cognition participation.Among them,the differences of concentration,deep cognition strategies,positive emotions and negative emotions were more obvious in these factors.The results also showed that the three levels of learning participation were interrelated and had mutual influence.This study enriches the application of electronic textbooks in information technology disciplines and the study of learning participation,which provided a reference basis.At the same time,it put forward suggestions for the improvement of learning participation and the use of electronic textbooks in order to help teachers improve the teaching quality of information technology courses and help students get better learning participation in information technology courses.
