Games are an indispensable part of kindergarten education and life.This study,by exploring the characteristics of children's favorite outdoor free play,arouses the attention of teachers and educators to the perspective of children.This study is based on interviews and works analysis,supplemented by independent photography and voting methods in Mosaic method,Based on the ongoing outdoor free play in kindergartens,this study explores how children understand outdoor free play,analyzes children's attitude and experience towards outdoor free play,and sorts out children's views on outdoor free play.In the eyes of children,they have their own understanding of outdoor free play.The findings are as follows:(1)children define outdoor free play in terms of name,nature,feeling and function.(2)children think that there are differences between outdoor free play and indoor games;Secondly,indoor games are relatively mild,while outdoor free play are more intense and intense;Thirdly,outdoor free play are more abundant in materials,playmates,articles and time than indoor games.(3)in children's eyes,teachers play the role of "teach children to play games”,"give children to play games" and "watch children play games".(4)Children like the characteristics of the outdoor free play are:first,there is a spacious space,beautiful area,between the areas do not disturb each other,there are plants in the natural environment;Second,safe,clean,meet the needs of the game site;Third,safe and challenging,beautiful and durable,natural and clean,diverse and low structure,easy to use and access materials;Fourth,children prefer playing in the morning;Fifth,children prefer to play with their peers,who prefer to play with good friends.Based on children's understanding of outdoor free play and the characteristics of outdoor free play they like,this paper discusses the material support of outdoor free play and children's spiritual experience,as well as children's physical and mental freedom.On the basis of the research results,several inspirations are obtained,Firstly,we should seek the basis of material environment creation from children's experience;Secondly,we should pay attention to the experience of infant spirit;Finally,teachers should respect children's ideas and participate in games as peers.
