Private education is now playing a more and more important role in China.With the continuous development of private education,some problems have gradually appeared.It's a common phenomenon that loss of private school teachers is becoming more frequent In recent years,with the continuous development of economy and society,the reasons for the loss of teachers in private schools have become more diversified and complicated The loss of teachers in private schools has seriously affected the stability and competitiveness of the teachers.This paper studies the reasons for the loss of teachers in private schools by selecting N school as the research target using the methods of participatory observation,questionnaire survey and in-depth interview.There are three main types of teacher loss in N school:school-leaving type,job-changing type and post transferring type.In the past four years,the school has lost 15 teachers every year on average,accounting for 12%of the total number of teachers.In terms of basic characteristics,the turnover rate of teachers presents an increasing trend year by year.The experienced teachers who have worked for 7-8 years have the highest dimission rate.The turnover rate of female teachers is higher than that of male teachers.More teachers are leaving for better private or public schools.There are four major reasons for the loss of teachers in N school.The first reason is the salary,which is an objective factor with subjectivity.It not only has its objective standard,but also is relative to demand,payment and other opportunities.The second reason is school management This is a common factor with particularity.Different from public schools,N school has greater management intensity and pressure,more complex interpersonal relationships,more importance of customers than teachers,and insufficient humanistic care.The third reason is the system difference.This is a deep-rooted cause of change,highlighted by differences in payment security and development opportunities.Fourth,it has nothing to do with the nature of private schools or even the school itself.Some teachers choose to leave because of personal freedom,changes in education market opportunities,their children's education,personal development and other reasons.Focusing on the presentation and analysis of the reasons for the loss of teachers,this paper aims to make a new understanding of "phenomenon recognition" and"change behavior choice".As far as the phenomenon is concerned,the study believes that the loss of teachers in private schools is a normal,inevitable,complicated and relatively controllable phenomenon.In terms of behavioral choice for change,the research maintains that schools can only "change what can be changed",the government should "change what schools cannot change",and teachers should also"take an active part in seeking for positive factors".
