As a measure of the specific status of individuals in society,social class is a universal social phenomenon.The level of social class represents the amount of resources possessed by an individual,and to a certain extent reflects the actual living standard and happy experience of an individual.Therefore,the research on social class and happiness has a long history,and it consistently shows that the higher the social class an individual lives in,the higher the level of happiness he will feel.High school students,as a special social group,are in a critical period of physical and mental development.Therefore,the understanding to the family social class relations with high school students' level of happiness,is advantageous to the society,schools and parents more attention to those who by family lower social class and make students happiness level is not high,and take corresponding measures,certain guidance intervention,help the development of mental health,improve the level of happiness.Although previous studies have explored the relationship between social class,basic psychological needs and well-being,there are still some questions worth further exploration.First of all,most of the past research only considered objective social class and the relationship between subjective well-being,the objective of this study combined subjective social class social stratum and examine their relationships with happiness.From the perspective of individual subjective recognition,more realistic reaction individual understanding of sense of their own social class status,more persuasive they will be;Secondly,happiness can be divided into hedonic well-being and eudaimonic well-being,the pursuit of meaning and self-goal.Thirdly,the mechanism between social class and hedonism and actualization is not clear.Based on self-determination theory,it is necessary to explore whether the satisfaction of basic psychological needs plays an intermediary role between social class and well-being.Finally,previous research objects are mainly college students,while high school students are in the critical period of physical and mental development,with great physiological and psychological changes,and the physical and mental development of high school students can often significantly affect their future life,so it is more meaningful to take high school students as the research object.In view of these problems,this study is based on self-determination theory(SDT).The subjective and objective family social class is taken as the independent variable,the hedonic well-being and the eudaimonic well-being as the dependent variable,and the basic psychological needs as the intermediary variable for analysis.The relationship between the three is discussed in the group of high school students.This study selected in qujiang first middle school in shaanxi and a middle school in tianshui,gansu province.644 students as the research object for high school students basic psychological needs and subjective and objective family social class,hedonic well-being and the eudaimonic well-being investigation situation such as happiness by descriptive analysis,difference test,correlation analysis and structural equation model test and other statistical methods for data analysis.We mainly got the following conclusions(1)the subjective and objective family social class of high school students is below the average level;The hedonic well-being and the eudaimonic well-being are above the average level;The total score of basic psychological needs and its three sub-dimensions of autonomy,relevance and ability are above the average level.(2)the subjective and objective family social class,basic psychological needs,hedonic well-being and the eudaimonic well-being of high school students have a positive relationship between two of their three variables(3)the basic psychological needs of high school students play a completely mediating role in the relationship between family social class and hedonic well-being and the eudaimonic well-being.
