Background: Interpersonal relationship problems are common problems for secondary vocational students.Bad interpersonal relationships often cause many mental health problems,especially social anxiety.However,there are few studies on social anxiety of secondary vocational students,and the factors that affect social anxiety of this population are not clear.Objectives:(1)Investigate the status quo of social anxiety of secondary vocational students and their differences in social demographic characteristics;(2)To examine the mediating role of social support in the relationship between subjective family economic status and social anxiety of secondary vocational students;(3)To examine the moderating role of psychological capital in the relationship between family economic status,social support and social anxiety of secondary vocational students.Methods: In the form of convenient sampling,the self-compiled social demographic questionnaire,the social support rating scale for college students,the subjective socioeconomic status scale for adolescents,the positive psychological capital questionnaire and the social anxiety scale were used from September 25,2019 to October 2019 On the15 th,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 35,96 secondary vocational students in three secondary vocational schools in Hunan Province.There were 599 boys and 2,997 girls,with an average age of 16.87±0.886.In addition,5 boys and girls were invited to conduct interviews.Results:(1)Vocational students live in obvious real social anxiety and online social anxiety;(2)Social anxiety is significantly negatively correlated with subjective family economic status,social support,and psychological capital;(3)Social support has a significant mediating effect between subjective family economic status and social anxiety of secondary vocational students(4)Psychological capital has a significant moderating effect on family economic status to social support,social support to social anxiety,and subjective family economic status to actual social anxiety.High levels of psychological capital enhance the protective effect of subjective family economic status and social support on secondary vocational students.Conclusion: Vocational students survival has obvious social anxiety problems,and is affected by multiple factors of family,society and individual.In school mental health education,it is necessary to pay attention to the screening of social anxiety of secondary vocational students,timely detection and intervention of susceptible groups,and the integration of positive psychology theories and ideas in the education process can effectively promote the mental health development of secondary vocational students.
